i think arsenal needs to stop picking their starting team based on fan popularity/favouritism and start picking based on skill. i get they paid £££ for russo and want their moneys worth. she isn’t a bad player but goes to show she isn’t always the best option.

I think once Emma said what she did at the end of the Liverpool game..the weight of the loss of the quadruple lifted from the players and they were able to just come out and do what they do best...that pressure though caused Man City to slip up but I have been saying this for years...Gareth and Skinner have no place on modern teams with trophy aspirations! City were cheeky enough to give him a long run and let Taylor learn on the job which was a huge disservice to the squad because the players deserved better! Everyone will look back on this and talk about what a missed opportunity this era was for City and United when teams like Tottenham and Liverpool have decided to take their women's teams seriously!

Well I still think it’s in city hands with the final rounds of games left for all the teams to play and Chelsea now winning 7 nil against Bristol city that means city will still be leading by 3 points going into the final round however it could be tricky for city if the lost to Aston Villa in the final game because a Chelsea win against Manchester United will make them the champions. So I don’t think City has really bottled it but they can still bottle it if they pick up at least a point against Villa next week.

Miedema may be in the conversation for best WSL striker but I don't think she'd start for Bristol City in centre midfield. While she's determined to play in midfield, not up front, Arsenal would be better off moving her on and using the saving on wages for a world class centre back

Hello Shebahn. Arsenal "got at" City defence with stamp on ankle. Australian substitute was well known to Arsenal players and they played to what was now in front of them with attackers substituted on, the booked player going off. City should have gone for it when they had the advantage. They missed Bunny for defensive headers and in the opposition box.
