Hello Shebahn. You were all over my phone and TV at weekend, as commented elsewhere. Aitana said she would in effect use every trick in the book to beat Chelsea. She was making things happen. Both sides new the referee's reputation. As soon as the first yellow card was shown, I thought "Get her off and get Millie on to organise things, before they get her sent off". It is nothing new to play up to the referee. Spanish football teams remind me of the bullfight. First wound and weaken. Next, when the time is right, strike the fatal blow. I am no fan of the former entertainment, but I have watched Barcelona on DAZN since the English players signed.

EH is losing the plot a bit I think - none of those decisions was 'the worst ever in the history of the WCL' - one of the genuinely worst decisions is Chelsea vs Lyon last season and LJ blatantly dived in the last minute but a penalty was awarded, and they went through. EH was conspicuously slient about that at the time, weird that

I don’t understand why the ”she/he got the ball first” is such a common defence in England? It’s not a thing. You can’t just go in however you want in a duel..it’s dangerous play. Definitely a yellow card offence, dumb decision by the defender.
