Was she talking about prepoo? I didn't really get what she said.
@SisuDiamant Жыл бұрын
Hi Adanna, yes I did. I picked it up in these YT streets and shared it with my sister. She suffered from itchy and flaking scalp a few days after wash day. When she stopped oiling her scalp as part of moisturizing routine, the itching and flaking also stopped. Now we oil the scalp as part of prep only.
@sjb4280 Жыл бұрын
In my experience using a light oil is fine. I find argon oil works for me fine, but I'd never put olive oil or coconut oil on my scalp after washing. Also depends on if I'm using a moisturizing shampoo vs a clarifying shampoo. Like you said in the video you just have to know your own body.
@supermom0376 Жыл бұрын
Yes. I oil my hair not my scalp. But I know the oils eventually make its way to my scalp. I suppose you can't avoid it. I use oils from the Grocery store on my hair. No grease/oils from hair store

Scalp care is indeed important. My scalp has had build up several times but a good shampooing and massage, especially using a shampoo brush gently can help. You can also use a scalp detox product like a bentonite clay mask or a scalp scrub ❤

So I am a black woman who does not put oil on my hair nor my scalp. I only started doing this about two years ago when I got sisterlocks. And one of the things that they tell you is not to put product in. I was a little skeptical initially. However, once my scalp was fully detoxed, I thought it was the best decision ever. My hair has never been more healthy than it is now.

From my research and from going to a natural hair specialist oils can actually feed the yeast that causes dandruff. It is also recommended for us with natural hair to wash more instead of less. I did a hair detox as well and oil was the top no no and any product with oil in the first 4 ingredients.

I don't oil my scalp at all. Your scalp makes its own oil called sebum. Oiling your scalp can prevent the sebum from coming out of the pores, which is probably why you experience so much dryness. I just wash, condition, use a leave-in and heat protectant, then I blowdry and cornrow my hair. I don't add any oils, and I clean my scalp with rose water every couple of days. I also get a trim every 8 weeks from a professional. I have growth and moisture with no itchy scalp.

Oooooohhhhhhhhhh Adana, I’m so sorry my dear. Nail technician infection is serious sis. I had a patient who went to have her nails done and almost loss her leg from infection. I also know someone who had a toenail infection and her nail is so bad up to now. I don’t go to nail tech I buy all my stuff and do my nails myself. Drink turmeric and ginger tea both anti-inflammatory. My cousin is a hairdresser and makes his own hair products; Derek Clement hair system for both men and women. Look after your nail my dear, have a blessed day and weekend. Calvary has a Grenadian restaurant which does really good food I heard. Shalom 🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾
