@@peterbritz620 I really don't know the inner workings of the business, so I couldn't say how most songs land on the radio, but I was advised by her team that one of the best ways to support her right now is to request her single "7th heaven" on your local radio stations. All her fans (wherever you are in the world) should do this!

@@peterbritz620, I watched a reaction from a supposed record producer in Australia, and his thoughts were, they were going to let Angelina "fit in to her style" for a year instead of hyping her and putting pressure on her to perform. He said he thinks after that year, she will be marketed heavily around the world. He also said this is what he would do, so she isn't burned out in her first year.

If you asked me my favorite Angelina song, especially as I have listened to everything she has done hundreds of times, I couldn't tell you. Sure I had a top tier, but none I could single out as "my favorite" as all were so wonderful. That is until today. This cover is Angelina Jordan perfection! This is Angie in her native environment. Pure sound from her magnificent emotional melismatic vocals and just a piano. No need for orchestral flare and mixing enhancements. Here, the last chorus was especially soul crushing! No other artist in all my 79 years has affected me like Angelina Jordan.

Everything you said is exactly how I feel. For me, this is her best performance. And also, one of the best performances I have ever heard by anyone. It is simply MAGNIFICENT!! I heard it over 50 times now, and it makes me cry every time. I know we all want her to be a great songwriter, but writing great songs usually requires living a while, and going through the ups and downs of life. What she has shown us so far is very, very good. Especially considering that she is still very young. But I hope we don't lose sight of the fact that, at least for me, she is the best ever at covering other peoples' songs. I find it tiresome listening to fans of up and coming artists, who are in the process of producing their first album, clamoring for "originals" "originals" "originals." Sure, artists need their own music if they are to gain eventual fame, but top tier artists do covers also. Many, like Elvis, and Amy Winehouse gained their initial notice doing covers. (Blue Suede Shoes, Hound Dog, Valerie). In fact, the Righteous Brothers recorded 75 covers between 1964 - 1975. I especially agree that Angie is the best cover artist in my lifetime. There isn't a cover she has done IMO that isn't better than the original, or at least pleasantly different. But, there will come a time that songwriters at the top of the profession will be flocking to Angie's management to sell her their work, and/or collaborate with her.

I was letting the clerk at my supermarket listen to her and telling her to put Angelina on her iphone as I was leaving. Another shopper over heard our conversation and was getting Angelina up on her phone! Lots of people that I know are nice to me and listen to all my Angelina "stuff" but I know they probably think I'm going nuts! It's my personal opinion that Angelina has already, at just 15, achieved parity with some of the greatest female singers ever...and she is just passing thru this level at light-speed. Her vocal artistry continues this unbelievable ascension...each year that goes by shows this crazy growth in clarity, power, breath control, and just overall skill. Hello Gitana, British man here. Long time fan of your reactions :) Just, long overdue, subbed. I only watch reactions to Angelina and Diana these days. I can understand your feelings for this one, particularly the chorus, which just resonates deep in your feelings/soul like nothing else. I totally get you! I also get the same feeling at the ending of "I'd rather go blind" by her. Speaking of the chorus, it suddenly struck me that it reminded me of another song I cherished many years ago, which also hit my soul similarly and had the same sort of sound. In 1980 when I was 10 years old, I heard a song called "A Woman In Love" by a woman (I was ten, this woman was a goddess to me, I sat watching a couple of her movies just staring endlessly into her eyes lol) called Barbra Streisand. If you listen to the chorus of that song, it is very similar in tones and in its power to penetrate your soul.

It's like viewing the end of a movie where the lounge singer is alone in the night club with only the piano player in the room. Sitting, she begins to vent about the fact that the love of her life will soon be gone forever. I've listened to this several times now, and obviously she's an incredibly masterful vocalist, but what I'm startiung to be more and more blown away by is her emotional interpretations of these songs. I was listening to the lyrics and it was so emotionally powerful how she emoted each point of the lyrics. It sounded like she was really talking to someone she cared about. Sometimes we forget how incredibly talented she is at emoting through her songs, perhaps because of her age. How is a teenage kid able to find in herself these emotions that perfectly convey the messages of these songs?

I really do hope that Angelina has great and powerful people arround her that grounds her. Because reading the comments on these reaction videos, she's adored and worshipped almost as a goddess. If Angelina fails and falls flat on her face, that fall will be high and devasting for her. She's great and powerful, and has a legendary gift and talent. Such a talent and gift can also be her downfall, if she's not careful. I wish nothing more then the best for her and everything good in life. I only hope that Angelina is careful and are well taken care of with all the responsebility that comes wtih this.

From the limited information available on her, I believe she is a Sigma personality type with very high intelligence, meaning she has all the leadership qualities of a type A personality but not needing any external validation from followers, in fact an introvert. Rare but quite self-sufficient in defining what matters to them, meaning she could hopefully deal with partially failing the goal of worldwide renown. Bottom line, I don't think she is any fragile flower type.
