I use to have a 2001 yz125 I bought after my dad passed away. I started racing and used his birthday as my number. Friends that have been doing it for awhile said I probably wouldn’t be placing near top 10 my 1st year. I put in the work and always prayed to my father. I got there and better. Following year top 3. I always stripped the bike down during the winter repainted the frame, greased the bearings, linkage, rebuilt the motor and so on. Fun times.. this yz500 would be cool to see with gold hubs and blue rims! So far looks sweet!
