So cute...so fluffy!! Had a Shih Tzu Maltese (Candice) and a Maltese Shih Tzu (Milo). Candice went blind and deaf over three days last year and we had her put down, it wasn't a life for her. And Milo was put down September this year, his back legs weren't working properly and it hurts to see him struggling to walk around and stand up, he would've been 16 last month. Miss my furry doggies.

I had a shih tzu and he was an amazing companion I loved talking to him, playing, giving him hugs, spending time, etc note that as a furry I do understand animals I sooo wish I had an animal that I can be a companion to

I love my Pebbles. If anyone comes near the home she can hear it. Love Bug is worth every penny. And my mom pays for half cause she mostly has Dinky Dinky Doo. I take Doo to the park. Grandma cant say that.

I would like to own a Shih Tzu dog but I am worried about ticks and fleas. How do you prevent your dogs from fleas and ticks ? I would like to keep my dogs in my home but bring it for walks whenever I can.

There are dozens of preventative treatments available. I use interceptor and bravecto for flea, tick and worm issues. Your vet should be able to give you a good idea of what works best for your fur baby.
