If you had watched for just a few seconds more , Dimash introduces the kobyz player. Dimash is very generous like that. There are some fake clips on you tube where it looks as if Dimash is in things like X factor, but he was not. He did appear on a contest on Worlds Best in the U,S., But he left the comp as he was previously told he wouldn’t be competing against children, which he wouldn’t do. He had got to the last three and the prize was a million dollars, Dimash has principles. Great reaction. Dimash is mesmerising. I’ve travelled to three countries now to see him live, and I’m 78. Latvia, Dubai and Turkey. He performs for three and a half hours nowadays.

The concert was 3 and half hours and I won't have to leave the arena for that😅. It's such an important event of my life and I won't miss it a second. Every seconds counts. There is no loop. He is singing all of it. I have been to 2 concerts and seen him live. He sings all of it. If u want to see a good concert when he was still very young, go to Bastau, 2017. Look for Daididau. Then Prague, he sings Happy Birthday to a Dear, (fan) and then gave us a singing lesson. Also see the concert in Sept. 2022 in Almaty. Watch the beginning very closely, your heart might stop. My favourites are Daididau, Olympico, Love is Like a Dream, If I Never Breathe Again, Couldnt Leave, and especially The Meaning of Eternity. You might want to keep that one for when u lose someone. His voice is absolutely beautiful there.

No digital looping on his voice. Yes, there are effects, but what you heard is him. I believe the technique is from Carnatic music and it is the gamakas spuritam that he is using. Don't quote me on that though. It's been a while.

Dimash may surprise you and show up in Phoenix one of these days as he has been spending a lot of time in Los Angeles in recent months working with legendary producers on his journey toward conquering the West. I would not be at all surprised to see him doing a US tour sometime in the next two or three years. I'm hoping for nearby Seattle but might also be able to make it to Portland or Vancouver. I'm old enough to have a bucket list, and seeing Dimash live in concert is the only item in that bucket!

According to the ancient beliefs of many people, only in a single piece will the living singing soul of the tree remain, which will sound in the instrument. He did perform in The Masked Singer--dressed up as an eagle (Kazakhstan's national bird), where the singer tries to disguise his voice and people have to guess who the singer is. The lowest note is usually C2....and higher longer sustained whistle note. Total Dimash range is G0-D8. By the way, a D8 is a couple of keys past the end of a piano.

Great reaction. Yup, noone in their right mind would leave for the bathroom during a Dimash concert. I have even heard of people wearing Depends type underwear just in case.🤣🤣🤣 The Masked Singer idea sounds great in theory but Dimash has such a distinctive voice. Hey Zack, I'm Will and new to your channel. Thanks for giving Dimash a shoutout. I've been subbed to his channel for a few years now. You are in for a great ride! I'll be sure to let you know if Dimash ever tours here in the U.S. So far (to my knowledge) he has performed in New York and he also performed a small venue in California. There are of course various interpretations as to the reference of this masterpiece of a song, but the main one includes refugees being forced to leave their homeland and begin all over again. Tragically, this is very applicable to Afghanistan and now, even more recently, the Ukrainian crisis. And as for that incredible last note, I've seen this a gazillion times, but I find myself just automatically STILL trying to hold my breath along with it. (Thank God blue is my color!😵‍💫) Since you mentioned wanting to see him in disguise, he actually HAS done it back in 2019 on The Masked Singer show from China, wearing an eagle costume cherished by his beloved Kazakhstan. But since he had already EXPLODED in China back 2 years earlier on The Singer, everybody knew his voice...and at 6'3"...let alone with THOSE vocals--everyone IMMEDIATELY knew who it was. That being said, please please please watch his performance and then just wait for a moment you will NEVER forget. Yes sir: at the beginning sounds an old Turkic stringed instrument called Kobys. It is probably the oldest bowed stringed instrument in the world and it spread to became the prototype of all European string instruments as violin an chello. That instrument and the use of the fa minor key in the composition gives the vibe of Middle East /oriental/ exotic sound. Think he´s singing to migrants in general: "New ground far as I can see, new ground underneath my feet, Stranger in a stranger land, new chance to see who I am if I have the strength to begin again"
