I love the "scrap series" as the scraps have a way of building up so fast and because you have already made a project that you sold at a craft fair the scrap projects are "pure profit" with the exception of a little glue, tape and time which is minimal. I love that idea! Time-saving tip: When I have a project I know I'll use over and over again I make a template of the box or envelope from heavy cardstock or chipboard, label it with the measurements and identify the score lines. When needed again I simply pull it out and quickly trace around it, thus eliminating precious time. I have done this for years and still using those same ones. They last a long time. Thank you for the tutorial. I am a newbie and don’t always have equipment others do so I appreciate these methods. Even though I only make stuff for home and family, not craft fairs, I still want to make quality products. That being said I did get 1-2-3 punch board for envelopes and bows, but I disliked it. I always seem to have a glue mess and I think the board doesn’t cut well and leaves horrible edges even though I’ve only used it about 15 times as I practiced. I did the envelope using your directions while I watched and I was so happy that I had clean edges and was so much easier to glue. My sincerest thanks for all you do.

So cute as usual! I've seen envelopes made like this and I've made them this way too.. really is an easy way. I usually just lay my card on top of the paper that I lay on the score board, and just estimate where the scores should go.. so no measuring! Works great.. and glad you reminded me of this way!
