Great song, sad to tell you lead singer danny Hamilton died in 1994. This video from the 80s had danny and joe frank in it. Tommy reynolds left after this hit, in 1975 they hit number one with fallin in love under the name Hamilton jo frank and reynolds, but alan dennison was in the band then. Fallin in love is a sweet blue eyed soul and my favorite song. Love your reactions. Peace an love from atlantic canada

I still remember my parents dancing to this tune in 70s!! This song reminds me of my sweet Daddy. RIP Dad..you got down on this bad song! Such a fav of mine!!! Yes great voices! 👍 Lead singer sounds a smidgen like Elvis in one part when he sings: " Doesn't that mean love to you, doesn't that mean anything " 🎵🎶

Great song pick! Once my Dad surprised me by coming home with a present of 4 cassette tapes for me back in the in the middle 70's. Cassettes were kind of a new thing and up till that time I had only had a little record player to play my 45's. When my older brother got a new cool stereo I inherited his older one and it had a cassette player and a record player and and 8 track all it one! One of the cassettes was Hamilton Joe Frank and Reynolds. :). I think I played that cassette a million times. It was fun getting to hear it again after many years. Whenever I hear them I always think of my Dad, in the 1970's, healthy and strong and just turning 50, with side burns and a leisure suit, not knowing any of the new groups but trying to pick out cassettes that his 14 year old daughter would like, Dear old Dad what a happy memory.

I used to play the single over and over when I was a tween, young teen. I don't know, something about this song.. I have another suggestion from same era - the song from the movie Billy Jack - One Tin Soldier..(I highly recommend NOT the original version but the one w Billy Joel's face on the thumbnail.).. Also, song from simple OLD TIME street preacher, t (born 1880) the late Washington Phillips. He used a novelty instrument (one of a kind?) photos on internet) that was like a child size piano but with strings. Would have to show pic of his instrument he used . He wrote these songs and sang them, and one used in movie We Have to talk About Kevin. (1). A Mother's Last Words to Her Son PLEASE I hope they bring this man some well deserved recognition (although he only wanted to recognize Jesus). (2) Denomination Blues. Be sure to cover both parts 1 and 2 if covering this... He is a REAL treat. There are more, but those 2, especially the first, WOW!)(Durch band Awkward also has video of the former. from about a decade ago ...

Was dealing blackjack when this song came over the system and a player said this is one of my favorite Elvis songs. I said it isn’t Elvis it’s Hamilton JoeFrank & Reynolds. He was adamant it was Elvis. I said ask Siri. He pulls his phone out says hey Siri what song is playing. Almost instantly it pops up confirming I was right guy says all these years I thought it was Elvis and he tosses me a $100 chip. Thanks for setting me straight

My goodness I was a 17-year-old Junior in high school when this came out. I cannot believe it's been 52 years since this came out. The music of the 60's & 70's was just off the charts great and memorable. How privilege and fortunate were we who are now senior citizens to have grown up with music such as this. This is why I continue to listen to songs of my youth. And love watching the reactions of Shawn and Mel when they realized how great the music of the 40's, 50's 60's and 70's were. Awesome reaction and upload of one of1971 greatest hit. Awesome!
