Loved growing up in Seattle in the 50's. Got to see Elvis in person in 57! Lived all over Ballard, Capitol Hill, Eastlake Magnolia/ Fisherman's Wharf Queen Anne blocks from the Space Needle! When University District still had beatniks and coffee houses. You had to thumb thru many White pages in the phone book to get past many pages of Johansson before getting to Johnson. I have had repeated dreams of that area from Pike Place Market down towards the Orpheum Theatre where my mom took me to see Chubby Checker, Joey Dee... The City where you're always overlooking water and crossing bridges. But most of all the people of a Seattle!

Had to move away from the city briefly, but this video fills the void of not being back in such a tremendous place. So excited to move back in 1-2 mo.

Hello 4K Nature and CIty Walks, my fellow walker, thanks for taking us on a tour of Seattle, where I attended university. It is interesting to be able to come and enjoy this nostalgic experience.

Great walk revealing just how quiet and deserted the city has become. Wonder what it's like for downtown low income residents, who now have fewer options. Let's hope Seattle and the rest of the world can recover from this interruption to life as we knew it, and to rise to the occasion of surviving...then rebuilding.

Love to see what happens to a city when politicians destroy it. Covid is NOT to blame, politicians are. They love doing this.

Bill fucking shit. Every major city looks like this right now all over the world. Tourism is what breaths life into cities. This is not politics this is a global health crisis that is leaving cities bone dry.

I'm curious what type of camera and mount you are using for such smooth photography and panning. Are you using a Steadicam mount? Also curious if you are keeping it stealthy somehow. People don't seem to acknowledge that they are being videographed, which seems unusual. Thanks for the great videos. I love playing them while I work.

I grew up in Seattle, but very few of the buildings I knew in downtown still actually exist. It's quite different from what it was then.

As a lifelong Seattle resident, I do not advise the first 8 minute of this walk, ever, especially on your own. But thank you for the rest of it. I have had a hard time dealing with things and seeing the city again feels different.
