@@seph3910 The fact that you can cast it at any point, even mid-Bodyswap, and the fact that I had a 50% quality Divergent Frostblink, so the cooldown is incredibly short if there's a rare or unique enemy. When the character was low-leveled, casting Bodyswap on the boss and immediately Frostblinking away was a convenient strategy to not get killed.

Absolutely fire cover. I'm awaiting it's standalone. Impressive you were able to make bodyswap work. I've had my eyes on frostwall for a number of leagues but sadly the CD is just too long and the dmg... It leaves something to be desired. It will stay as my white whale for a while to come it seems.

there was a league i used it on selfcast and it felt super good to put up in front of stuff i knew would shoot stuff at me. I don't usually juice my maps to insanity though, the cwdt must work sometimes when you can't see what's happening at all on the screen.

When they added the explode on kill chest, I made a nice build using bodyswap cast while channeling on cyclone and mjolnir. Teleport around and constantly proc your mjolnirs. Was rather fun.

You can use alternate quality Deadly Ailment to reduce the Less hit dmg to cap out Cruelty. Its worth losing the inc dmg. I used it on my hexblast to get higher shocks, its worth not using Woke deadly ailments.

Just started poe last week and when I found this gem, I nearly shit a brick. I’m surprised this isn’t meta, anything in games like this that produces damage from enemies life is usually so good. This skill alone I’m farming tier 4 maps until I can get tankier. I’m using balefire with cwc wavebound. Kill the first enemy then spam the piss out of body swap and that fire blink skill to reposition me. Bosses just use scorching ray and fire blink. Works just fine till I can get the gear I need and make another Templar and spec it perfectly.

Wow, loved your INSANE AND TOTALLY META take on bodyswap :D it's now viable! I'll ask what possibly have been everyone on Twitch's questions but uh... 1 - Why didn't you put unearth on kitava's thirst to keep bodyswapping with corpse damage? 2 - Would a totem or acanist brand on unearth be weird? I know you mentioned unearth has a fast enough casting time, but that would give you a bit more mobility and possibly DPS in exchange for 1 (possibly very expensive) gem socket. I think having good 'unearth corpse uptime' isn't necessary, since you went ignite, but I'm curious if it would make the playstyle a bit smoother.

1. Autotargeting Unearth causes you to Bodyswap directly into danger. Putting it in Kitava's Thirst casts less often and less consistently than being able to place the Unearth manually. Self-casting with a 0.3s cast time is preferable to having a 50% chance to trigger it every 0.7s. Imagine Bodyswapping 4 times in a row, and Unearth never casts. Also, putting the ignite utility spells in the helmet more than doubles our DPS, which is nice. 2. Yes, this would be worse than putting it in Kitava's Thirst. There is no need to abstract casting Unearth. Just cast Unearth. You only need to do it once or twice, why place a totem or a brand? The playstyle is super smooth, because you hold Bodyswap when you're not fighting bosses or tough rares, and press Unearth once every 5 seconds when you are.

Started to miss your voice so I made my own weird build, call it the 5(6) quack man. Surprisingly it works well, and it's not *prohibitively* expensive. Still have to test it in endgame but should be tanky, only uses a 4+1 link for main ability, reaches 25m DPS in theory with an ability that lowers DPS by 36-ish %. Fuck it, I'll make it this weekend probably

heeyyyyy you inspired me to play that build in that league - actually the first time that i had so much fun in a single league, first time i've got to t16 maps and cleard almost-all-endgame-bosses! (didn't finish uber elder cause i wanted to farm all the fragments solo, but the game did bore me a bit) i optimized it a bit for my purposes (got rid of kitava's & crafted my own helmet, used arcanist brand + support spells instead, nearly doubled the dmg output overall but made it a bit more clunky to play) I had still a lot of stuff to optimize, but it felt & played great anyway. Thanks for the inspiration and fun that you bring here
