When they found his body, Jimmy says “I found a leg” and then Tommy goes “Here’s a wing! What do you like Henry? The leg or the wing?” Meanwhile Henry is barfing due to the smell of Batts’ decomposing body. Tommy is making a dark joke by referring to Batts’ body like chicken, showing just how heartless he was.

The way I was introduced to Goodfellas could not have been any better. I had a baseball coach from Yonkers when I was 16. We had a tourney out of town so he rented a projector for us to all watch Goodfellas. He couldn’t have been more New York so he would point out to us all the best moments in the movies like “now watch how Paulie looks back at Henry” 😂😂 so I see Goodfellas through his eyes and it was perfect. I also got absolutely blazed in my hotel room with my buddy right before and we ordered pizza so it was one of my favorite moments ever 😭😭
