The pacing was vastly superior to the original, the chemistry between Jill and Carlos was overall better and felt more natural, Jill herself was actually given an arc, learning that not everyone attached to Umbrella was bad, the boss fights with Nemesis were great, and the soundtrack was more faithful to the original than RE2's was.
