Thanks for the impressive review, bro! Omni will spare no effort to offer more and more new product in near future, like esc and battery, to diversify our product line. In regards to the pulley you mentioned in 13:16, its for CNC hub, which can be used for belt-driven board. No matter belt drive or gear drive, our hub will make it compatible.

Congratulations you nailed with this example. The first board i thought to install this gear drive kit was trx the second verreal rs of course the most affordable ones. I guess if i have the budget i would go straight with eovan silo but as you mentioned even with that in mind i wouldnt get the flexiblity street wheeels. I love st. Ive got those 145mm airless rubber wheels from omni. First of all they are fantastic! Ive tried a few other brands airless at wheels 150mm and they all are pretty terrible. These omni ones are almost like riding pneumies. They grip the road and even light off road. Ive got them on my emtb with matrix 2"s, and hearo deck. There is one catch though, they do not fit mbs hubs. It says it does in the description but these wheels are lowish profile and wide. The hubs wont close. However, they will fit regular evolve hubs. Overall these are absolutely badass and well worth the low price omni is selling them for

Hi what was the original board? Was it belt drive? It's no problem to pop in gear drive and it will just work? No problems with esc and existing battery? Or is this approach more for someone doing everything from scratch?? Thanks in advance 🥰

Yea, it was a belt drive. Took those off, installed these, and was ready to roll! It was my first time doing anything like this, but I watched their install video and worked it out. I do offer tips in here in some things that were tough. No adjusting the ESC and battery was good too. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻

That's a good question, and one I can't answer, because I don't have the Tynee Mini 3 Pro mostly. Do those motors sit under the board or behind it? If behind it, I'm sure they would. Vapor Trail Channel is where I share my passions. There are do differentiations for me. It’s simple…if you don’t like a particular video I publish, just watch what you want to watch. There’s so little coming out in the v@p3 world these days, and I’ve spent a lot of time, money, and dedication to my channel, so I don’t want to watch all of that fade away. I decided when I launched the channel that I would name it after the Rush album, Vapor Trails, so that it’s not specific to one genre and I could share everything here. The latter was so pervasive at one time that there wasn’t time for other content. Now there is, and I’m stoked to expand it. I very much appreciate your support here! I will say that Acedeck makes some really nice products! That's for sure. I bought the NYX Z1 and absolutely love it. These gear drives came out when nobody had them available for purchase...well, aside from a few expensive boutique drives. I can tell you that Omni makes very nice and great quality DIY parts, and they've just released a section where you can spec out and order a custom board to be built by them. And the price is very competitive with Acedeck. I get it man...there are some really nice production boards out there these days and Acedeck is at the top of that game IMHO. But, there are many who choose to DIY...or just want to change up their current board without spending over $1k for a new board. I'm happy that there are choices out there for everyone, and I'm here to show you what they look and perform like IRL. That way you can others can decide for yourselves if the items I show are for you. I'm sorta sad to see negativity in this community, as it's what brings me joy. Kinda like therapy. Please name one DIY place that can make the entire board as nice as an Ares X1 2023 for 1600 dollars. If that exists, I'll DIY lol. As far as I've seen, DIY always costs more, and you end up with an inferior product. I get doing it for the joy of it though. That makes sense. @@VaporTrailChannel
