1:29:44 basically initially before the limit on interruptive effects what would happen is that two Digimon with the suka inheritable could ping pong back off of one another causing an infinite loop. so they made it to where interruptive effects could only happen once per effect to prevent this, however it inadvertently affected other Digimon with interruptive effects. so to balance it out to what they initially wanted, they made it so that interruptive effects can happen multiple times on a single effect (if able) but that interruptive effect must resolve. so that way Digimon like greymon could trash sources twice against effects like Levy but suka can't ping pong, because until the target that needs to be deleted for suka to be protected is actually deleted, they can't use the effect again. That way other decks don't suffer because of the potential loop for suka

I would agree this is the best digimon yt channel. It's consistent, in depth, yall are not scared to be wrong or admit mistakes (if any) , and you got the chemistry of being close friends. Also the constant digi matches and u have deck profiles. No other channel has all this! Gg. I'd just recommend more food topics. Speaking of...Mexican or Italian? Which would u rather have for the rest of ur life and not have of the other...

D-fissure wasn't played in Rulers format unless it was in evilswarms. The only floodgate that rulers played was vanity's emptiness. Also I like how Chris is going to show people how bad that deck is when we have seen him play tyrant and we seen his card chooses.

We got the new Impmon line late because they were waiting for the new web novel to drop before showing the new names. Idk why though kinda weird since we saw the designs already. Also bees are all based off the new web novel as well

43:52 Digimon easily outclass pokémon in terms of power scaling. Good rule of thumb, The baseline is metalgreymon who fires a nuke, if you apply that over 90% of the pokémon are immediately thrown out of the conversation (maybe hyperbole, but I doubt it). Then you go into wargreymon who can take the energy from the atmosphere and create a miniature star, then into shine who just flat out uses nuclear fusion and creates a star from its own energy. That is all the grounded power scaling, past that you go into the hacks like what the Royal knights have. (I'd like to see any pokémon bar the creation trio fight alphamon who just save-states in battle till it has a perfect victory).

I got the last box at my shop on Friday….got the box that had 0 SEC so I got 2 AA’s. I felt ripped off lol. Luckily one was Davis Ken and I was able to trade the other for my play set of Paildramons

Rayquaza claps gabu with our without a gun. It learns extreme speed so I doubt gabu would even be able to hit him. And he can fly.

Duo/partner digimon cards would be pretty cool. Question: asking for my people at my locals. Location cards (field spells). Do you think the should be added to the game. Personally I do think it’s unnecessary for the game. If they added it would be to rebalance the game like aces.

Comment questions for the boys What do you guys think of all the new maste support that will be coming out ( tamer and the ace) do you think the deck will be any good going into the next few formats. Been playing the deck since it dropped every set and would love to hear your thoughts Second question do you think errata’s should be implemented into the game for certain cards to come back or be more balanced ? Can’t remember if you’ve discussed this before but would be nice to hear your thoughts Great podcast guys keep it up, the longer the better

gabumon with a gun would lose to rayquaza. Now a Gabumon with FOUR guns, that would beat rayquaza easy. Edit: more seriously, by my scientific calculations, a realistic amount of handgun ammo would not win a fight with rayquaza, unless you're crazy lucky with shots. Rayquaza probably does not have mythical dragon skin, but skin that is effectively armor. I'd assume Gabumon is above average at handling guns for the sake of this. So a gabumon would need at least a rifle to stand a chance. And the weapon would be cumbersome for gabumon to carry. My conclusion is that it's like a 7-3 matchup in rayquaza's favor I have not considered gabumon digivolving during the fight

wrong bt16 demivee + bt16 vee into bt16 MAgX gives you 18 the turn you digi into it on your turn... you lose the +2k frm vee once you pass

would anusbismon returning to 4 still be broken today though? it would for sure be powerful, but i feel like devas, levia, and now bt16 imperial would all beat that deck and check it from being too dominant.

did some testing using the NA finals' winning anubismon deck, idk how you'd properly update that deck with the newer cards that came out since then so i left it as is. didn't test mirage/magna vaccine since i am not very experienced in piloting those decks devas vs anubis 6-2 anubis only wins if you somehow kill them before fanglong comes out. from the devas perspective, you just want to evo up so that anubis can't pop your expensive lvl 5s. anubis has no deck space for option removal, so they can't out fanglong once he hits the board. - Leviamon vs anubis 3-0 as expected, terrible matchup... much like fighting fenriloogamon, the game is heavily in your favor after you set up a biting crush - imperial vs anubis 3-0 this feels just as bad as levia; imperial is just way faster than anubis, even if anubis bypasses bt16 dragon mode and pops off, everything is getting suspended then bott decked next turn if the imperial player isn't dead - dark masters vs anubis 3-1 dangerous to swing into a security loaded with 15k bodies/zwarts that play themselves for free, and mercy mode spam just doesn't let anubis play the game. builds that cut mercy mode for other omnimons would probably get overrun though - Numemon vs anubis 5-5 very even; whoever grabs control of the board first will generally end up swarming too much for the other to come back from - Blackwargreymon vs anubis 2-4 merva's endless saberdramon summons with raid/rush/retaliation/blocker is just too much for even greymon protection sadly. i used a control style bwg deck since that is my preferred playstyle, an OTK style would definitely fair better. - Machinedramon vs anubis 2-4 anubis is just way faster and more consistent than the slow machinedramon sadly. you can win though if you manage to create the chaosX godstack
