thanks brother , im actually new to music production. I literally dont know about anything , i got confused between samples & presets , so samples basically can be of any form like kick , vocal , hi hats etc , but presets are different right ? For presets we need plugin , am i right ?

In short: Samples are audio recordings (ready-made sounds) like kicks, hi-hats, claps, vocals, or even sounds recorded from synths like Serum, Diva, or Sylenth. You can drop them directly into your track. On the other hand, presets are settings for synthesizers that shape the sound (built into a DAW or external plugins like Serum or Diva). They define how the sound is generated inside the synth. To use them, you need the specific plugin they were created for.
