I wanted to weigh in here on the mask. It sounded great and lots of influencers were singing its praises. I purchased one after watching your video because I appreciate your thoughtful process of testing. I do think these should come with a warning for people who have had retina problems. I have as much as 15 minutes following using the mask where I can't see at all. And my eyesight can take up to 25 minutes to fully see things without them looking like a colorless X-ray. I've noticed visual problems since then that have lasted. And, I only used it three times. I purchased those little goggles that people use in sunbeds - though I'm not a sunbather - to try to use but they don't fit in the Omnilux eye mask. So, costly learning experience. Note to self - it's always important to do one's own research and search for the downside or cons of a product. It turns out that I'm not the only one, and other red light therapy sites do acknowledge this issue. Hope this saves someone else about $400.

I'm lucky. I saw a review video in which the reviewer said this type of flexible mask 1. Doesn't provide eye protection (a deal breaker for me) and 2 touches your skin which may cause irritation. I ended up purchasing a hard mask from Amiro.

I bought the face and the neck. With the discount, it's $2 per day for a year. I use the face mask for my hands. I reduced my coffee consumption to help pay for the masks (upside, my teeth are whiter). Using for 3 months every day in the morning when I first wake up as part of my routine. Its worth it for the results. Do it. Angie, I just wanted to thank you for the thorough job you do on your videos. I con only imagine all the work it takes to put these together. I bought the face mask and and used if for almost 3 months. I definitely saw as difference and found it so easy to use. However, it died on me after barely 3 months of normal use. I contacted the Omnilux people and insisted I was using it wrong and that’s why the lights weren’t going on. I made a video and then they believed me and apologized. They did sent me a new one immediately. I was pleased with the customer service, but beware.. it is expensive and only has a 1 year warranty. I’m really going to be annoyed if it doesn’t last long.

I use the mask first. Then, I put 2 pumps of Curology Tretinoin and an equal amount of their moisturizer on the back of my hand. I mix them up and dab the mixture all over my face. Then I rub both of the top of my hands together, so they get the treatment as well. In 2 months, my skin looks firmer, small lines are smoothed (or completly gone) and spots are 30% lighter. Looking forward to seeing more improvement over time. All of this is possible because of Angie's high quality reviews. Thank you Angie! 🏵

I got the neck and face mask. Took a while to get my face mask and it stopped working about a month later too (well, the wire would toggle off and on and you had to hold it where the wire met the mask in just the right position for it to stay lit). The Customer Service was awesome though and I quickly got my second mask. I notice a difference mostly in my chest and neck but I have been using it longer too. Glad I got them.

Angie, I bought this mask after your last video. I have been battling constant peeling and scaling around my nose and the sides of my mouth for years. I've been on all sorts of medications and nothing seems to work long term. After using this mask for a week (I've used it for a month now) my scaling and peeling is GONE. This is encouraging. I already went for it and purchased the face and neck contour and I use the neck on my hands one at a time. I’ve had it one week and two days and I’ve taken one day off and I’ve done 20MIN vs 10. Your results are REALLY huge. And it’s exactly why I got it to help with those fine lines and soften deep lines and help overall with redness and dark spots and plumpness. I may be using it too much but I don’t have any negative effects and it’s VERY soothing and calming during. After the first use I noticed my skin brighter and more plump and I don’t THINK I was imagining it. Although I know that’s not really how this works. It takes time. Maybe my face was just calmed down and I really noticed it. After each use my skin does glow. To be fair I’m using the hyaluronic masks meant for use with the led/near infrared mask and both serums. It’s not the serums or masks bc I have used masks and serums and creams and oils ritually for many many years. The difference was the led mask. It’s subtle. Very subtle. LOVE the Dr.Gross mask with the exception of the strap. It never feels warm. I do it in the morning lying down for 2 sessions of 3 minutes. And I use the hooga hand held lamp on my neck and chest. First 3 mins on my neck, next 3 mins on my chest. I was going to buy the omilux mask but in Canada it's a ridiculous price. I was between the Currency one and the dr.Gross one. With the sephora spring sale and the free shipping, the dr.Gross one was the least expensive. I started out my red light therapy with the Hooga lamp after I saw Angie's original in depth and very informative video on red light. I found it on the Canadian Amazon site for $65. I saw results after 3 weeks. That's when I decided the mask was worth the splurge. It's a faster treatment then moving the lamp around your face every 3 minutes.

I use Retin-A and have had no issues with the Omnilux creating a reaction. As a side note: don’t apply retin-a until after you use your mask. As a matter of fact, the directions indicate to be sure your skin is clean of all products prior to use, including moisturizer. I’m vitamin A sensitive, and it took me two years to use the lowest dose tret nightly. I’m now also using the omni, and, if anything, the Omni is making it easier for me to heal during the increased tret use. When my derm saw me last, she asked what else I was doing to my skin because of the difference Omni is making; she thought I’d had laser treatments, but really it was just the first 90 of Omni. My favorite is the results aren’t fading even though I’m not using it as often anymore. I hope that helps anyone else on the fence. This mask was the best investment for my skin I’ve made in the last twenty years of seeking out ways to improve my skin.

The first time I used the mask I did have red spots up high on my cheeks, however I think it is very important to wash you face well before using the mask to remove the Curology from your face. Since I have been washing well I haven’t had any more redness..

Because of the price and time needed to use and my age I can’t justify spending that much money on the mask. I have my NuFace and I think it does help. I do take care of my skin & people usually don’t believe my age, so as I get closer to the big 80 I will be sticking with my NuFace. The before and after setup is KEY and Angie absolutely nailed this. A note about reactions with Retin-A, I did have a reaction after using the mask back to back sessions for about 2 hrs in one evening, my face felt extremely dry, like a sunburn, and stung immensely when I used moisturizer. However, this has not really happened again since and I continue to use Red light every day (i've noticed smoothening in my under-eye area and evening of the skin tone - i have freckles) as well as Blue light which has cleared my mask-ne.

Just FYI, I am currently working with Omnilux customer service to get a replacement mask. I had purchased a mask in late January and last week, the lights quit working. It was as if they shorted out. So far in this process, the service has been excellent. But remind your viewers that there is a 2-year warranty on the mask and they might want to hang on to their purchase information, order number, etc. in case they do have an issue. My fingers are crossed that my replacement device will arrive quickly! YOU look amazing!

Same here, been using my CurrentBody for almost 3 months, and the brightness, firmness, plumpness and decrease in lines and wrinkles is astonishing, people have remarked on it! LED light therapy works! I might have chosen this Omnilux if I were purchasing something now, because it has more bulbs, Omnilux as a brand, and reviews indicate the comfortability (sometimes the CurrentBody feels a bit "pinchy" but nothing I can't adjust), but it hadn't come out yet when I purchased the CurrentBody last November. All kidding aside, I did notice that your skin and neck were looking amazing last month, you had then mentioned you had a new mask you were using and would be posting an update so I've been anxiously awaiting this video. I'm intrigued, I just turned 50 (still waiting for my HotandFlashy membership card, does AARP send that? LOL) so I'll be mulling this one over. I liked the nuface device, while I was using it I definitely saw improvement, it's just that this looks like something I could do more consistently. I'm not at the point where I'm wearing foundation to cover stuff, but I do have "stuff happening" that I should do something about. Thanks to Angie, I decided to take my red light device out of my drawer and I started using it. I bought a Quasar MD many years ago I could kick myself now for giving up after a week the first time! It’s been 3 months and the results have been great. Fine lines around my eyes have significantly diminished, my neck looks great. I also used it on my knees and it did such a good job I bought a therapeutic red light wrap for my knee. You can purchase those with your HSA. I might just have to get the Omnilux though. It’s really tempting!

I have been using the face and hand mask for 10 minutes for 5-6 months 4xs a week and it helped a little, but later found that using them 20 minutes 4xs a week is actually working better for more mature skin. From my understanding as long as you don’t use the Retin A BEFORE the mask it should be fine. Since Retin A is light sensitive it’s not recommended to use before the mask but afterwards you can use whatever you want. Of course everyone is different but that seems to be the general consensus. Also any exfoliants and any products with fragrance (particularly citrus fragrance) should not be used before using the mask because those ingredients are also light sensitive and can break down and cause irritation and inflammation in the skin. But they’re fine to use after the mask. But again everyone is different 👍🏻

Your skin does look great, Angie. I definitely see a difference. You don't need foundation. I stopped wearing it a few years ago due to the peeling from the Retin-A. It made me realize I didn't need it. I only wear sunscreen and powder (for shine). I get compliments on my skin all the time! I think we're "brainwashed" into thinking our skin won't look good without foundation.

I have the Dr. Gross Mask that I bought a couple of years ago. I also use retin-A, but I want to say that you shouldn't use your mask then put on retin-a right after that's when you get the reaction. You have to wait a few hours.
