Ok I’m totally weirded out. I wrote a review on the Current Body (they emailed a review form) and when I finished I clicked on my KZbin feed and Boom there you were. The CurrentBody took a month to arrive in Canada (prob not their fault, just current circumstances) and there was duty/taxes of $69.00. But it’s so easy to use. I noticed the lower face gap too but I just prop a throw pillow in either side and it holds it down very comfortably! Happy I decided on this one. Hemmed and hawed over the money but in the end I couldn’t resist the silicone manufacturing (easy to wear, store and pack one day soon I hope). Thanks Angie, you always come through.

I feel like everyone else is way behind or I was way ahead on this one. I got into LED light treatments 12-15 years ago, getting professional treatments and having several at home devices. At the time I was 30, so I was more concerned with my rosacea/redness and healing acne. Now I still have some of my old devices as LED bulbs last forever and I have some new ones too. Now I use it for anti-aging and to calm my skin after AGGRESSIVE treatments. *Red light - good for anti-aging, wound healing, tone, redness, wrinkles *Infrared - great for pain (commonly used in chiropractor's office) and helped with my bad knee. AMAZING for lifting and firming the skin. *Blue light - great for killing acne and even affective with fungal acne. Make sure to use goggles/eye protection as the blue is more harmful for your eyes. *YELLOW - I am less familiar with this one, but I believe it is thought to help with pigment and discoloration. My new mask has yellow but I have only tried it a few times. *Red/Infrared Combo - this is my favorite for the most effective anti-aging. My DPL machine is probably close to 20 years old as I had bought it used, but it is the most effective device I have for anti-aging. *Red/Blue combo is great for acne and anti aging. It heals old acne, kills new acne and prevents breakouts. Just make sure to use eye protection. Regarding the different wavelengths, I used to know all my ideal wavelengths by heart, but that was over a decade ago. It is easy enough to look it up and understand. I do recall researching enough to learn that with the new market for growing marijuana, "led grow lights" are now cheap and readily available on Amazon. They are either red, blue and most are a red/blue combo. You can get a big panel for super cheap. It is no frills, effective light if red/blue is your thing. You can even verify that the wavelengths are right for you by researching before you purchase.

I've seen some articles to wear eye protection when using at home LED masks. Cassandra Bankson had mentioned to protect the eyes. I used it one time with my eyes closed only and no eye protection. Afterwards all I saw was green tints for a few minutes. It's like when you go out in the sun with no sunglasses and come inside the room is a bit red till yours eyes adjust. That's how it wasafter LED mask even with my eyes closed. I got protective goggles to use. I don't want to damage my eyes even if I can't get the full benefit around my eyes. Sight is more important to me.

Me too. I'm interested in a device that can treat my neck and face and have been considering the Celluma Pro, but after watching I'm thinking it's not close enough to the skin
@jr-pr9lw3 жыл бұрын
I wish she would have included Celluma too. Angie makes money off of her discount codes (and good for her for that, and for us) so I wonder if they didn't offer her an incentive to sell their products which are largely sold to doctors and estheticians. I have the Celluma Home ($695; which is less expensive than buying the 3 individual devices from Omnilux Contour.) It treats aging, pain and wounds and can be used all over your body, not just the face. The "Home" has red LED at 640; Infrared at 880 and Blue at 465 (even thought it does not have an "acne" setting the panel still displays blue light.) I love it for anti-aging and mild aches and pains. It is supposedly excellent for arthritis pain relief. I do not use the stands that come with the device so that it is closer to my skin (it actually lays on my skin.)
@vegtbull3 жыл бұрын
@Charley Mack I did see your previous comment. In fact, I looked it up that device on Amazon. Weird it was deleted. The thing I like about the Omnilux is that you don't need goggles and can wear it while doing other things. For me, the easier to use makes me more likely to use it. But even with the separate neck device, seems the skin under the chin is missed.... Which makes the Celluma still an appealing option for me.

I have the Current Body mask and do not like the way it fits. Apparently I have a small face too because it seems very oversized on me. It doesn't sit flush against my jawline and that is an area I really want to improve. It also kind of flattens my nose. This being said, I am loving the results. I have not had botox in almost 5 months and I feel I don't need it yet. Before I started using this, I would get botox in my forehead and crowsfeet, but those areas are still looking smooth! I am not sure if this effect will continue, but so far, so good. If I can reduce getting botox, this mask will pay for itself!

Angie this was great. I have done a lot of studying on this very topic over the years. So many times the products available would show results but only on very few clients and nothing we felt was worth it. Many clients would come to us having had huge expectations and had no real changes from having this done in a doctors office as well. I would always remind them that how they took care of their skin before and after was a huge key to having success with any device. For us there were to many other choices that made huge differences. Move forward to now, and I do think the masks may the key to other device. As you said Led has been around for a couple decades and with anything perhaps it is improving. Loved this and I want to remind Everyone as with everything else wear a wide brimmed hat in the sun with your sunscreen. 🙌🏻 Enjoyed this. 🍑🙌🏻Lisa

@Jac I meant in terms of energy. The output according to their customer service, it is only 3J in 20 minutes. To get results you need between 3 and 18J. So you need to spend a lot of time with it. I use it everyday since I spent the money, but I could definitely do more with that time. Some people can walk around the house, but I find that it is hard for me to do much since the lights are quite dazzling to me.

Angie, i LOVED the video and all the technical details you put in it! What hard work! I have looked into the Omnilux since it’s the company used in the research papers and recommended by Dr. Dray. The only thing that gives me pause is that it only has a 30-day return policy. Not sure if that’s also their warranty. What if it stops working then I’m out nearly $400. Will have to contact the company.
@katerlee5163 жыл бұрын
Here’s what customer service told me about their warranty: “With regard to the warranty, our devices are warranted for 2 years and the controller is warranted for 1 year. If the product should become faulty within this warranty period please contact us ASAP. Warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents/misuse or alteration, connection to incorrect power sources, use with unauthorized accessories or servicing by unauthorized persons.”

Also, you didn't mention Blue or blue/red combo which is amazing for acne but requires goggles/eye protection. Also, huge powerful red and blue light panels are now readily available for cheap on Amazon since they are used in growing marijuana. They even have huge red panels where people have hung them on their walls to treat huge areas or even full body. Really inexpensive and worth looking into.
