No offense to anyone else - I'm serious - but this is why I want more brothas/sistas demoing these products. A lot of times I can't relate to what's been played through these demos. I have nothing against other genres of music, but when someone is playing drones and 'Star Trek' music - it can be difficult to mentally covert what they're doing to what I do with gospel, neo-soul, etc.

@@Yhuntermusic Yaahn, if you don't mind me asking - strictly from the perspective of a live player, who does NO studio work, do you think it's worth it to get a laptop and load up on VSTs when I have a Roland Fantom and Jupiter 80? What am I missing out on if anything?

@@akibe7608 It really depends on your essential needs.. If you want to record your ideas at home, a laptop (or iPad) would suit well. But just for sounds? I feel thats more a luxury imo

You have to do the tweaking to presets... otherwise you will be sounding like the next million guys who dont tweak the presets.. this is the reason why everyone sounds the same lol.. stand out, be creative, be your own self...
