Lyrics: Hey brother Make way for patience Or there is a chance To breath through frustration PIck it up Fill it up Not splashing a single drop There is a lot of peace, Tranquility On the calm surface of the heart Hey sister Have you been the drama? It becomes more severe Every time you fall from grace A strain of history Heavy on the shoulders And the world It moves forever on And after the mourning Morning has gone It is time again To journey towards home The perpetual flame is ever waiting For the one who sees All that is done At last no reason, a sensation, To slay anymore The silent hounds are all asleep And the world it moves forever on Here On the calm surface of the heart

This song is a masterpiece, so emotional, powerful and deep, reminds me of struggle for life of every living being and their strength to keep going on, as well as our beautiful and abused planet keeps going round the Sun. Vocals, band etc. Are top notch. These guys are the best thing in this genre of music these days. Keeping that soulful melodic 90's sound with an updated feel. They're open minded, in their musical tastes, and it really shows in the craftsmanship of their songs. The haters obviously didn't grow up during this time, the time of creativity. Metal songs can have melody, sensitivity, and brutality together.

First try to focus on whole vibes, not just the voice and you will find a new dimension. As other metalheads did already tell you that is the best interpretation for such a high performance music. I am a woman and I love all of this.

""The theme of the album is about the culmination point of one's existence. "[lastfm biography] Hey brother Make way for patience Or there is a chance To breath through frustration PIck it up Fill it up Not splashing a single drop There is a lot of peace, Tranquility On the calm surface of the heart Hey sister Have you been the drama? It becomes more severe Every time you fall from grace A strain of history Heavy on the shoulders And the world It moves forever on And after the mourning Morning has gone It is time again To journey towards home The perpetual flame is ever waiting For the one who sees All that is done At last no reason, a sensation, To slay anymore The silent hounds are all asleep And the world it moves forever on Here On the calm surface of the HEART (((

As a kid I was listening to Black Sabbath,Deep Purple,Status Quo and other heavy bands of the late 60's and early 70's In the 70's I got into Thin Lizzy,Judas Priest and Scorpions. The Iron Maiden,Saxon,Motorhead in the 80's. I kind of missed the 90's but in the last few years I have been on KZbin and learned of all these bad-ass bands. Kalmah,Ensiferum,Opeth,Svartsot,ARG and Eluveitie are a few more I like. I didn't mellow with age,I like the heavy stuff. METAL FOREVER my friend.

this band has what you would refer to as "talent". with so many bands out there trying to be the heaviest or fastest, its amazing to hear heavy metal thats seems to be orchestrated. there isnt a song on this album that wasnt just an idea that got tossed around for a bit and BOOM, another track. they are mythodic and melodic, and i am glad to hear a band that does not seem to be competing with any one else, because they arent and they dont need to be.

Yup, they are recieving more and more recognition, which is good. This band will probably never ever go mainstream, and thank goodness for that. Like Insomnium, Kalmah, Amon Amarth, Dark Tranquillity and so many more, they will stay true to their roots as well as being experimential with their sound.

I guess it take a little getting used to. When I first discovered Omnium, it started out sounding a little too deep, but OG are, in my opinion, one of the most original death metal acts out there. New world Shadows is one of those albums where every song's a gem and yet sounds nothing like the one before. They really knocked it out of the park there, and it looks like they're building on that excellence.

I actually think the deep growls of the vocalists and the melodic feel of the music are an amazing mix. And for people saying Melodic Death Metal shouldn't have such low growls: many Melodic Death Metal bands do actually use those low vocals. For example, just look at Kalmah and Amon Amarth, two of the biggest Melodic Death Metal bands out there at the moment. Both have low vocals. But of course as everything in music it's subjective, although I personally love the combination haha :)
