For me, by the end of the game, everyone will forgive Sunny and Basil. Just that both Kel and Hero will only take like maybe days or weeks but for Aubrey, it might takes months or years. Either way, it depends on everyone's guess. Anyway, I love your cover of this, OR3O. Wish I could have a voice as good as yours. :')

@ige77 their suffering was mainly from holding the guilt though. So for me the smiles mainly means they finally forgave themselves - which was the hardest - and took that weight away, now being able to move on. Yet I also think everyone else forgives them at some point, or at least don't get totally mad at them (hell, they're both in hospital really hurt from almost killing each other after 4 years dealing with that all alone, everyone would realize how they're suffering)

I could always hear the vocals in my head. I feel so attached to the song, as everything I do is a challenge to commit to, as well as everything ending up being a long ordeal or project. I honestly don’t want to live, but killing myself is the cowards way out. Every day I hope that I die in an unfortunate accident that I have no control over. The only real reason as to why I’m still here is that my mom and 2 best friends all have chronic depression, and they all also count on me for emotional support. I’m the only kid who talks to and hangs out with my mom at all, my one friend had a mental breakdown and he only calmed down after I hugged him for 20+ minutes and after he learned I did nearly 80-90mph on side roads to get to him faster, claiming he was so lucky to have a friend like me and that he would be gone without me, and my other friend losing his dad in the winter and saying I’m one of the only reasons he made it through highschool. I love for them, not myself. So even though I find it hard to wake up in the morning, or do anything for that matter, I still decide to shamble through life, no matter how hard it gets.

I'm curious : do you think that Kel, Hero and Aubrey will forgive Sunny and Basil ? And if so, how would it happen ? Personally, I think that after Kel goes through the shock of learning the truth, he'll easily forgive Sunny and Basil. I don't think he could resent them even if he wanted to. As for Hero, I think there could be two possibilities. He could either resent Sunny and Basil for the rest of his life, being unable to forgive them, which is possible because of how much Hero can get overwhelmed by his own emotions despite his good nature. Or he could forgive them fast, knowing that's what Mari would have wanted him to do. In any case, I think that Hero will find some peace knowing that Mari didn't commit suicide and that none of what happened was his fault. But I also don't think that Hero could ever fully forgive them and would just learn to live with it. For Mari. When it comes to Aubrey, I think that she'd feel guilty for resenting them for so many years after learning the guilt, shame and regrets they both had to go through for 3 years, and feel like she should have been the one to be there for them. Though it might take some time for her to process the information, I don't think it would take that long. In any case, learning the truth would probably be the first step for them to truly overcome their trauma and grief. I really hope that they will be friends one day. I kind of want a sequel in a way (even though I know the game doesn't need one) just to see what will happen years after the truth is revealed. This game dealt me too much emotional damage, I need to find confort in knowing these kids are okay, happy, and friends again for my own mental sake. Maybe a little DLC ? Or a comic ? Please ? 😢
