4:41 paraphrasing a video I saw a while back, because I agree with it, plus adding my own thoughts (and using a reference) This is Sunny's fate in the Hikki route assuming he doesn't die. His soul is trapped in a prison of his own creation. He cannot walk, talk or breathe anymore without Omori in control, he barely can form his own thoughts. He's no longer even in control. However gilded that cage may have been initially, the luster all but faded, and he lives a life of constant pain and regret without understanding why anymore. He can barely move himself to do anything without Omori's control, both physically and emotionally. And deep down he doesn't believe he deserves anyone, or anything. After all, Sunny isn't stupid, he's quite imaginative if anything as the game shows. He knows deep down the pain he inflicted not just on her, but everyone he cared about. He hates himself for it. He wishes he could be free. But he can't. Omori won't let him. There's no climactic showdown between the two, no high-tension fight to the finish in the mind, or even just a dialogue. Sunny isn't even capable of resisting anymore. Because Sunny no longer wants to. He loved her and he killed her, hurt them, and Omori knows. In the end, Omori is all Sunny has left. Omori understands Sunny's guilt, gives him a pleasant but empty coping mechanism, and subsumes Sunny into himself. But within his broken heart, he burns in his own flame. This is how it feels to be Sunny, forever.

this happens in the hikk route exclusively on the last day. You can enter/leave whenever you want. You should be able to stab yourself to escape
