Hey Aaron, I ordered that motor for my M7… how did you get it to fit in the motor mount? The shaft has a conical taper as it comes out of the motor, this pushes the bearing of the upper motor mount out of its hole, moving the whole pinion lower so you can’t put the mount assembly back together. Did you have to modify the motor shaft so that bearing could fit?

Hey@@NitroClouds, sorry to hear that you have issues with your build. OMP changed the motor mount after the first batch so that there is more space now, which should solve it normally. You can do the following now: Don‘t modify the motor shaft please. Take out the upper support bearing in the motor mount instead. It will work fine without that bearing aswell.

@@AaronHeli any idea where I can get the new motor mount and how to identify that it’s the one that works? Jonas said Scorpion changed the motor shaft again. How old is your HK5 5024? I got mine a week ago

@@NitroClouds You already have the latest M7 motor mount with the modifications. (I saw the picture on Facebook). With these my HK5 fits. Probably your HK5 has a different shaft. You still have the easy solution to leave out the upper bearing. The bearings of the Scorpion motor are strong enough to just fly without the upper bearing support. Thats what I still do with my first M7 prototype for over 200 flights. Works perfectly fine. :)
