Just put away all my other projects, grabbed my 5.5mm hook, and my jumbo ball of yarns I've been saving for the perfect blanket for my husband's and my bed. This is absolutely stunning and incredibly special, Bonnie! And a full step by step tutorial! How blessed we are by your God-given crochet talent and generosity! I'll keep you posted on my progress. I need your help with the wandering cables poncho, but this first. 😊 God bless you and your loved ones, Bonnie! And yes, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is so worthy of all our praises! His work on the cross to save my soul humble me daily. His resurrection and knowing that resurrection power lives in us because His Holy Spirit resides in us is worthy of our praise! And forever He is seated at the right hand of God, because it is finished!! Glory to God, thank you Jesus! No other is as mighty and powerful as our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen and Amen! Blessings!!❤

Amen to that Amber! I so hope you enjoy this one. I think you'll find it a bit easier than the Wandering Cables Poncho. It's still an intermediate design and may be challenging, but I do provide stitch counts all along the way to try to be more helpful. Take care!

Wow, look at those views already! This blanket deserves the attention and your tutorial is easy to follow and my blanket is coming along beautifully! I actually figured out how to do the cable stitch AND move the yarn to create the 2 sc after the slip stitch. For others who may be stuck there, maybe this will help.... After making the slip stitch, rotate your work like your turning back a page in a book, so opposite the normal direction work is turned. You'll then find the working yarn is between you and your hook. This won't work to create the next two single crochet stitches behind the cable we just made. So in order to get the working yarn behind your hook, rotate your hook like a helicopter blade, moving the end of the hook away from you then to the left and then back into your hand as ready to crochet. Your yarn should now be behind your hook so you're now able to create the two single crochet stitches. Hope that helps! I pray all are well and enjoying this day the Lord Jesus has made!😊
