It is so unfortunate that marriages aren't lasting these days. Couples must remember that they get married to build a legacy, a generation of family, and wealth for generations to come. We have to learn to sacrifice and keep God first. As a married woman of 30 years now, I learned that men are children at heart. God said man must put away childish things when he becomes a man. Selfishness and inconsideration and disrespect and malice are all childish things. It takes a man longer sometimes to grow up and understand the responsibility of the role they have to take up the mantle for and be a responsible adult. I have been blessed to be the kind of wife who has seen the spirit of my husband as a child at heart. I continued in my role as a wife and mother and prayed for my husband and that he would find his way to God and to learn how to finally grow up and step into his role as the man he is meant to be. Nothing in life is easy. But the sacrifice and the struggle and the prayers help to finally see beauty for my ashes. Sorrow may be in the night, but joy really comes in the morning.
