On any Sunday came out when I was a kid riding enduros, observed trials, you know, throttle control, balance, and basically how to set up a competition motorcycle. Of course you have to hide the 125 or 250cc flattracker from mom,but still, at 16 i won a 10th place trials trophy out of an international field of 88 in my class at the N.E.O.T.T. GROUNDS IN LEAONARD OKLAHOMA. Silver mug trophy and got to meet the then World champion, Mick Andrew's. Who liked my OSSA PLONKER. He actually let me ride a Yankee Enduro bike he had along. He was bound up a bit a sling on one arm. A YANKEE WAS a 500cc two stroke twin like 2 OSSA 250 Engines mounted side by side! A screamer for sure!

I have REAL signatures of EVERY AMA Grand National Champion from 1940-1980, 18 individual signatures ... all on the same page of my American Racer: 1940-1980 book (by Stephen Wright, signed by him too!!). And it's a Limited Book Edition with Gold Leaf Leather cover/binding. I often wonder what this is worth??? .. any guesses???

Interesting film. I hadn't seen it before. It's very different from OAS1. Overall OAS1 has a more impromptu goofy feel to it. In OAS2 the goofiness feels intentional. If you like vintage mc race footage it's worth a watch. I had never heard of Japanese Speedway. If Cycle or Cycle Guide did a feature on it back in the day I don't recall it. I cannot believe they recycled the worst part of the desert racing sequence from OAS1. That scene should have ended up on the cutting room floor in OAS1. To include it in the sequel is inexplicable.

Thanks for putting on KZbin but this is no "On Any Sunday." It has none of the class or the understated humor of the original. Stopping watching half way in.
