Seen here is a ride on a L train, operated by R160, bound for Broadway Junction.
Due to track replacement, L train service was cut back to Broadway Junction until 10 PM, when service would later resume at night to Canarsie.
Passengers who want Canarsie, free shuttle bus services replaced it along the way.
I was waiting for either an R160 or an R143 to come into the station at 8th Avenue, even though the platform was getting a bit crowded while waiting, so I had to be careful where I was standing and looking. The train coming in was an R160, so I took that train all the way to Broadway Junction since I had to be careful when I was doing my trip. Anyway, during the ride, it got a bit noisy since most passengers were playing their music, but I stand by the front window during the ride, and it did get crowded along the way for a weekend trip, but I was careful, and most passengers got off at 1st Avenue before we headed under the East River.
The ride wasn’t half bad for me when I was going to Broadway Junction, but the space when riding, I needed to breathe a little during the ride. At least it didn’t the outcome of the whole trip since this was weekend work, and it was smooth all the way there. When we got into Broadway Junction, it only went in one track since the other track was closed and it was only one way in and one way out of there.
In the end, it went back downtown back to 8th Avenue from there as I got it leaving from the front, and headed straight for the tunnels to Manhattan.
Enjoy!
