Not nearly enuff fire power. What happens when you locate a Sub ?

Thats not what this ship is made for. Its a patrol vessel not a combat vessel. If it comes accross rule breakers or HAS to engage anything at all, that 50 call should be more than enough. The threat is ussually a small, light speedboat and for anything bigger should be able to do the job as well. Like container ships etc. For protecting its own waters the belgian navy uses their frigates. These threats are ussually allready pre determined by on shore radars, locating and distinguishing what threat level something is IF and EVER something like that happens. But for patrolling these are more than sufficient. For fighting the frigates are called or the air force or both.

Also the belgian coast is not that big so they dont need a lot to protect it with. They have 2 frigates, 5 minesweepers and 2 patrol vessels. (And a lot more police patrol boats).
