@Alice Lane The description very clearly states that this is qualifying for the Historic Sportscar Racing Sebring Classic 12 Hour. And I'm sorry, but I have to agree with Craig - this car represents everything that has gone so very wrong with "vintage" racing in this country. And no, Porsche 996, this has nothing to do with "morality". It has everything to do with trying to represent, to recreate, an era in sportscar racing that holds a lot of nostalgia for many of us. We can watch modern racing if we like, and of course most of us do. When we watch historic, or vintage racing, however, that is kind of what we would like to see. Not some thoroughly modernized race car in a vintage shell. That's not the point of any of this, and it's ruining this fun little niche that many of us rather enjoy .
