Please Subscribe!! The 3rd lap consisted of me crashing out of 2nd place at Cross Four-Ways in the 600 C Supersport race and battling with Ben Shuttlewood. The rider and bike were both OK.

That's real Road Racing ....glad to see it was a slow section and not one of the fast ones...cheers from Canada...

Phew! I'm glad you're OK James. I was spectating at Billown when you came off, but I didn't know where you'd come a cropper until I watched this. It was bloody tense seeing you going through the fast sections: hoping it was gonna be one of the slow, 1st-gear right-handers that you & the Kwaka parted company. Best wishes for the remainder of the season mate & keep 'er lit! ;-)

Yup, it's usually the slow corners that ruin a good day of fun.

Bad luck, hope he's fine, some good lines but the road ends are always a high side trap. The Southern 100 is a fantastic track

I got into track days in Florida when I was 64 years old. Always wanted to try t. There was one every month of the year there and very popular. GSXR 600 and R3. I never had the balls to go really fast. If you make a mistake on a road race motorcycle at speed your screwed usually. Nothing but respect for the people that ride Isle of Man and places like it. But they are fucking crazy.

There really is no other sport that pushes tire compound beyond conceivable reality. You can make an argument for top fuel drag racing and F1 I suppose but they are not turning as quickly and certainly not on such narrow sections of rubber.

So sad pal, smooth as fuck where did the grip go?? Slope on the tarmac? Drain lid? Fucking shame that was silky smooth my man!!! 👍👍👍👍
@cubax5996 жыл бұрын
Looks like the rear grip was suffering. seems the other guy hooks up well out of corners. front end more sorted I suppose ?
@JamesFieldYT6 жыл бұрын
The rear set up could certainly of been better, I was struggling most the season with the rear but we think we know the cause now. I think the crash was mainly down to lack of experience, I'm a newcomer to road racing and was a little wide, and I didn't account for the change in camber as a result of that. Always next year though! :D

Southern 100 is on the IOM, however if you mean the TT then no. I am entering the Manx GP this year which is on the TT course in August.
