To be fair to On, they've nailed the ath-leisure shoe.
@gabrielsampson17192 жыл бұрын
Okay guys, here is my thoughts after 60 miles "maybe". Between the welded seams they begun to tear for me, and that's just after 3 months of owning this shoe. I can even stick my pinky toes out of both shoes. When I first got them I really did like the shoe, and I still like them but they don't last. Like having a good high just to leave you crashed in the end. If I could upload pictures of them now I would. If a shoe doesn't last long with minimal miles on them, I would go ahead and throw these in the red category.

talking straight forward: ON are truly good looking FASHIONABLE WALKING SHOES. I own 2 pairs and they get solely used when going to the city to meet friends or like casual walks around the neighborhood, running errands, a visit to the grocery, etc.

I've noticed a lot of people who used to love running in On's are gravitating toward other shoes lately. The people who walk in these still love them, but I've heard from other runners that they just feel firm, and are too expensive for what they are as a daily trainer. I've personally felt like their whole system is kind of gimmicky, and I think this review is kind of a testament to that. You'd think with all the holes that they would be light. They aren't. You'd think with all the holes they are going to be squishy. They aren't. And for the price you get an overbuilt and clunky shoe that, in my experience, feels more at home walking around the shopping district with a starbucks in hand than ugly sweating on a long run.
@Believeintherun2 жыл бұрын
You pretty much nailed it. We think On knows that and is trying to fix it (like with the Cloudmonster), and hopefully they do.

You described me. After experiencing thick mid soles of Fuel Cell, Fresh Foam X, FF Blast, and Zoom X, it’s hard to want to run in On’s again.

Thank you for saying this, that’s exactly what I want them for mostly walking for exercise and errands and long periods of standing. Just want something comfortable for my feet. Really liked the look of the Could 5s but they’re too narrow, the monsters were not comfortable to me either.

If you are considering this shoe, you might as well just spend the extra $30 for the Cloud Monster. The Cloud Monster is a very good shoe.
@paddywiggle2 жыл бұрын
They fit way different. This shoe is better for all rounder workouts whereas the monster is strictly a runner shoe, and also fits much wider. The cloudrunner is narrower fitting through the midfoot with a wide toebox.

@@paddywiggle That is very good to know. Thank you. I have the Cloudstratus V2 and the Cloud Monster and it’s perfect for me. I need the wider fit and the roomy toe box. Most On Running shoes can be a bit too narrow for me.

luckily my local running shop has an amazing return policy I bought 5 different pairs of shoes to try to find the perfect one ended up returning all of them 6th shoe finally works (seeing physio for an injury she's switching up my shoes) Cloudrunner is 100% the shoe for me so much so my physio reccomended I buy multiple pairs. This shoe somehow keeps my knee from kocking together (along with physio exercises). I've been running for 15-16years not a beginner runner this shoe is my favorite daily trainer I don't care how basic it is!

What “standard” daily trainer is $120 besides the Pegasus? Clifton, Mach, Ride, Guide, Ghost, Adrenaline, 880, 860 are all $130-140. It ain’t 2010 anymore!!

I bet even the Pegasus 34/35 (yep, the old ones) would run even better than these new On Cloudrunners. ON should've just introduced other colorways for their Cloud Monsters.

I can't make up my mind if ON is just a total marketing gimmick. They look cool, and their sales are just growing and growing. But most actual runners seem to not be at all impressed with them. It looks a lot like hype, image, and slick marketing over substance.

Don't understand why they are not shitting on this shoe. This shoe is completely garbage, i got this and immediately returned after 4 days. It's like you walking barefoot, the cushion is joke. Honestly add 20 bucks and get cloudtilt or something.
