For anyone saying. Ive gotta say. Its not all the fusion youre hearing here. That manley is doing sooooo well. Wtf. I guess program based release. Holy shit.

I bought one for my Tascam 8 track cassette recorder. Was it a bit much?
@jsd_mcr3 жыл бұрын
Great demo! I’m pretty sure the transformer isn’t affected by gain level though... unlike the “vintage drive” section the drive on the transformer is self contained and isn’t affected by input signal 💯

If I am not wrong (I speak french) your setup is Manley then Fusion. But when you turn the input up, the Manley signal increases. Pls explain. thank you I have the Manley and just ordered the Fusion. I was planned to put the Fusion before the Manley then back to the DAW

It looks like the Manley is in the -sidechain- (oops, I meant insert 😋)

great demo! i have a question, im also planing to have a compressor on the inserts...do you have it always connected and bypass the fusion if you want to use only the compressor or you have it all in a patch bay? thanx!!
@Vibekilla2 жыл бұрын
Bypass it! Easy! The insert is best used for a mid / side EQ to make your mastering engineer happy!

Hi, great demo! Is there any way u could describe how to properly connect stereo comp, like UBK fatso to Fusion using inserts! Much appreciated and thanks again! 👏

Have you had any issues with Fusion being hotter output level on the left channel. Mine is about 1.0dB to 1.5 dB louder on the left channel.

it’s so lovely, the round of the bass, but the transformer circuit was a bit much for the situation.

You just conformed my suspicions, The Austica Audio's Magenta 5 and Analog blackbox Plugin Or Lime 2 and Analog blackbox plugin Or Tim P L Bus Comp 2 And Analog Blackbox Plugin by PA Will give You, just as good or even better because you got more control over the sound as the manly compressor, and the SSL Fusion or the ssl6 mixer and the SSL Fusion Physical units, and to be honest with you, $500 is a lot better than $5,000 or $8,000 and you're getting the same exact sound on your digital mix the same amount of improvement
@Beatsmith20054 жыл бұрын
I'd grab one, but I am wary of gear used at mix/master time that are going to give you doubts at recall time. ALL the controls/pots should all be stepped for recall...
@jsd_mcr3 жыл бұрын
From my experience It’s so easy and intuitive you don’t even need recall you can easily get back to the sweet spot again... take the plunge bro it’s a beauty

Just got mine sounds good butttttttt, gets hot. And the tape circuit is noisey ...and it is over priced.
@johnisrael51832 жыл бұрын
Honstly.....live sampled true analog based plugins... makes shelling out all that money for that expensive Hardware OUTDATED The fusion is nice but I'm telling you either the analog Black Box plug in or the physical unit does as good of a job or better, and the acoustica audio SSL plugins do just as good is spending all that money with solid state logic Now a nice touch, I don't think you can get around is having to use the SSL 2 Plus...with the legact 4k s pressed in... so that the music can go out of it into your analog rack and then back into it but those plugins from acoustical audio and the analog black box are game changers

His mixing probably sucks and he thinks this would polish a turd and it doesn't. For it to do what it's intended to do you have to first have a solid mix. Love mine so far.

@@UncleBenjs sounds best on your mix bus / master bus. I use it after I do a complete mix down and after I have done anything mastering related. It is ment to be last in the master chain. Absolutely love mine.

I found this demo pretty useless. You’re not chatting to a mate in a pub with background music to make it relaxing. So all that talking you did and sniffling of your snotty nose ruined any prospect of finding the video intuitive to a prospect buyer. Really unprofessional. 😒
