Having stayed here for so long, I don't think there is that much of a correlation between foreign policy and approval ratings. Biden's approval ratings are low because of his poor tax policy. Small businesses also do not like his policy of giving more money in unemployment than what they can earn if they work. As a result employers are having a tough time filling in job positions and it is increasing their cost of running their business. Many people in the US like the vaccine mandate that Biden is pushing for.

Trump remains inimitable. Nobody can be as crazy and undependable as Trump. Under him the US managed to irritate and exacerbate its relations with all its allies including NATO.
