If you look deeper, theres a large adult ballet community. I'm 43 and after a 29 year break, landed a pointe role as the ballerina doll in a production of the Nutcracker. I love her story, very inspiring.

Thank you, Steve Hartman, for giving all of us reasons to keep going, to keep believing in one another. Whew...it's been a crazy-awful few years, & your pieces have lifted me up. Also, those two are ADORABLE. Your daughter is precious, & as for Suzelle, I can only pray that I have such grace & beauty & radiance when I'm in my 70's! P.S. I love the look on your face when your little sweetie asked the question about being old! Moreso? I love how Suzelle didn't bat an eye, she just ANSWERED it. She owns her age, she's proud to be old, & it's marvelous!!

There's people her age STILL doing what they LOVE and SUCCESSFULLY!!.. Haute Couture Fashion Models..and that elderly gentleman who is a Top Ranking Weight Lifter in his age category!!.. I'm curious to know if there are other ballet dancers as old as her or older, who are still dancing. She doesn't seem that old to me, and it seems that people can do ballet into old OLD age, but maybe I'm wrong.
