My father just left yesterday. 2 weeks after diagnosis. It spread to his lungs and he opted to not do chemotherapy. He was suffering enough and wanted to go on his own terms. I was able to be with him in his final hours and tell him that I loved him, I am proud of him, he is brave, overcame so many obstacles, I hope you are proud of me and one day.....we will be re-united. Shortly after, he passed peacefully. This has taught me alot.....do not take life for granted, embrace your loved ones, tomorrow is not guaranteed, whatever riffs you have with loved ones....squash it, the status and materialistic stuff does not matter, be fearless and look to god and just live your life to the fullest with no regrets. I love you dad, Your son.....David Jr.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer 3 weeks ago and it has spread to his lungs and in 3 weeks he will start chemotherapy but what happened to your dad scares me. We are hoping that his tumor will shrink when he does chemo, which will give us a bit more time with him.

My dad was diagnosed at stage 4 and only left the hospital to go to hospice. He refused the tube through his nose to his stomach at that point and waited to die. Hospice kept him comfortable with a few exceptions that were corrected immediately. Pancreatic Cancer at this time still isn't usually diagnosed until almost too late, and the end game is wrenching.

My father is dying, just went to the hospice today , my parents had been together 60 years since teenagers, it’s so overwhelming but perhaps more at ease with dying as we don’t want him to suffer any longer.

Prostate cancer took my Dad’s life. He chose only standard first line treatment and then hospice. It’s a very devastating disease. Cancer teaches to live to the fullest because you just never know.

I just lost my father to stage four pancreas cancer on June 20th, a few days ago. It was extremely hard on myself and my family. He fought two and a half years with the disease and eventually ran out of chemotherapy options… He was such a big part of our lives and nothing is going to be the same without him.

My dad had pancreatic cancer. My entire family lied to me about it being terminal. He was the best friend I ever had and I miss him every day. It's been 5 years since he passed and no one in my family has ever said anything about it.

Out of experience I realize that surgery and Chemo are not always the answer. The irritation of Chemo to my partner was a hardship to the already serious pains he was living through. The last days of palliativ and the relieving paintaking medication over his Port were his first painless days and nights in months. I am without him over 5 years and still in grief......

Pancreatic Awareness with only 5.5k views!? This cancer is horrible. Why is this cancer so less spoken about? This is such a HORRIBLE and fast spread cancer. PLS DONATE so there's more research and more clicinal trials. I lost my father to one of the worst cancers almost two months ago. Fought for a year. I cannot stress how mad I feel when I see how little this is spoken off. Scream your lungs loud, this needs more attention. I miss and love my father so much.
