For once, a guest that brings the conversation forward... as far as he could.

Love how the conversation flows from both sides. Both of them take it from where the other party left off. Love this topic and totally agree with the tips shared by Gurmit on how to tackle household chores. Often it is the accumulated small things that breaks the relationship.

Growing up watching this man as a comedian on tv just to see him as a quick witted, wise man now. Great inspiration! Wish to see him more on this channel 👏🏼

Really enjoyed this episode. I thought the "simple" issues discussed were very relevant and the insight shared by both Gurmit and Sonzz provided perspective. I did laugh at the examples raised (because it's real!), but I'm also glad to know that this is pretty much normal things people face when they live together. And I thought the wisdom that Gurmit shared was really relevant and useful. Kudos team. 👏

Yes. It’s very therapeutic. Clean floors, the smell of clean laundry , neatly packed room… the list goes on.

I'm from a "typical Malay-Muslim" family where it is expected for the woman to do all the housework except for maybe taking out the trash/fixing things. My parents still get agitated with me whenever they see my partner do the dishes etc. We laugh about it when they leave 😅 I can see why chores is a highly debated topic because sometimes it requires things to be unlearned and there's always the possibility of clashing mindsets. Very insightful (and funny) stuff from Gurmit too!! Can't wait for next ep :)

love this light hearted convo, always encourage my friends to cohabit with their partner to figure out whether you can live with that person... i think tt is v impt. im super lucky to have a partner who is as OCD as me, so we both like keeping our space clean.

Nowadays I see more men than women doing house-chores. I think this comes from the upbringing of kids from a young age whereby girls (single child especially) are treated like princesses and parents of the earlier generation are capable of doing everything themselves. When both husband and wife don't do chores, the work is outsourced. In my opinion, there is really not alot to be done given how small our families and apartments have become.

Honestly I started to dislike Gurmit more and more due to constantly seeing the annoying "Investwithvic" ads and seeing him in them just made me start to dislike him but he seems like a decent guy

Definitely not a guy thing. I'm a girl and always put all equipments back. It feels like the cleaning isn't complete if I leave it at a wrong place.
