On My Coronado 25 Sailboat - A Rainy Day Story

I spend some alone time on the boat in the rain after a "Bomb Cyclone" hits California and the whole west coast. I talk a little of the history of my boat and how it applies to me. I also pump the water out of the bilge which accumulated from the rainfall.

That was some loud rain hitting Risqué. I could hear the rain hitting my concrete roof tiles today. I remember calling you up to tell you of a women selling her boat in Fresno. Happy Sailing!

Nice boat. I like the paint scheme. I'm currently prepping a 1970 CB Coronado 25 for gulf cruising this spring. Would like to see more of your rigging.

Thank you. I really like the color scheme as well. That goes up soon. But the running rigging is basically a typical race setup.

I have all the lines you can think of. The up hauls and down hauls which I use for a semetrical spinnaker. I have a downhaul , outhaul and a Cunningham on the main. I have, of course, the halyards and sheets but I also had. A bit of rubbery stretchy tubing tied to two blocks on the back of my aft stay - the blocks are 4 - 1 which allowed me to really REALLY fine tune the sail shape. All of this was for racing of course and done by the previous owner and regatta champion Loius Wagoner. I am not a racer at all I just like to relax and catch the breeze and use it to go places. So I got rid of the Cunningham and I never even touch the downhaul on my boom. I do use the up haul and downhaul on my Spinakker and I use the whisker pole. Other than that I just find myself using the basics. All of this is ran back to the cockpit. I also added lazy jacks but with a boltrope groove and not slides it was pointless
