Gaaah I wish I could do lines as quickly as you. To get lines that smooth it takes me FOREVER and it seems like you hardly ever have to redo any. >.< I constantly do them over. Beautiful work

If you are using SAI there is something called 'Stabilizer' which is up at the top of the menu bar. It has numbers 0 thru S-7 (I believe?) and that helps some people to get their lines smoother. I use it when I do videos (15) to reduce the lag. But that may help ^^ That and practice a lot ^^

SAI is a lot of fun to get to know :) It's pretty easy as well if you mess around a bit and just test things out. Well, I'm going to assume you mean light direction? Well, if you're unsure I'd look up some references as well as just studying light and shadow techniques. I'd post some links but can't because comments don't allow. Just look around for 'light/shadow' tutorials on dA or Google :) They'll help a lot ^^

JeffieDraws Yeah, it's just all practice really. If you look back on my older speedpaints I wasn't very good with line art on the computer but I just kept drawing and practicing. I do shade, but it's a hard process to explain. DeviantART has a bunch of good shading tutorials if you search for them. There's a ton! Np :)

I've now tried to change my SAI so it looks like you'rs, and I can draw!.. ;-; I'm new to use sai(used pht8 before) And I just wanna draw a lot of stuff, but I don't know the program so well yet, and it make my brain hurt.. can't tell how much this helped me! I use a tool called 'Ink Pen' which you can get by right clicking on some of the blank squares in your tools panel. There should be a list that comes up and there should be other tools on it that you can add :) This is for the full version of SAI though ^^
