"57" (Timelapse Video)

Hello everyone,
Long time no see (or upload)! Apologies for the absence -- I've got a ton of videos saved and such but this old chuggernaught of a computer has trouble editing and exporting videos these days so I can't post too much until I can somehow manage to get a new one.
Anyway, this was a commission done for a friend of mine and it's basically based on a concept of the disappearance of the Amur Leopard in the wild. The title pertains to the study held in 2016 where only 57 specimens were sighted of these beautiful big cats (a jump from the 30 so several years previous but still far too low) in their habitat.
The basic idea is held in a quotation:
"One day you will only see me etched in stone -- One day you will never see me in my home -- One day I will be gone."
So I played off that idea by using stone as the balancing act here; stone faced and turning to stone.
I streamed this with OBS on Picarto so the quality may be a bit shoddy but all the same I hope it looks good enough as an upload.

This is just... stunning. I couldn't take my eyes off the video, the colors and the depths are so well made and the music matches the ambiance of the drawing so perfectly... I don't have enough vocabulary to describe how powerful and incredible this is, so I'll just say that this is an amazing work, as always :3

Little update in 2019: I heard that the species bumped up into the 100's so that's a relief. Even if it's slowly rising at least we're making progress...
