Varoufakis is 100% spot on. At least it confirms what I've been saying. Oct 7th was the excuse they've been waiting for. You don't just all of a sudden commit a genocide if it wasn't the plan all along. The reason they didn't even bother coming up with a better lie for 'excusing it' (they say they don't want to kill civilians but hamas knew they would, so by their logic it isn't their fault if they don't stop). The reason they think they can do anything they want (like the latest where they started bombing newly liberated Syria because why not, great opportunity for colonising their country as well. Oh and for calling the world antisemites and bias against israel for calling it a genocide - whilst october-today (23rd of december) less than 15 trucks of aid came through to the starving palestinians. We can effing see it!
