On Political Science: Free Reading Group for Intermediate and Advanced Speakers of Ancient Greek
Fourth reading session. Plato Rep. 368c-d and 473b-c; and Aristotle Pol. 1252a
In our latest reading session, we explored Socrates’ peculiar methodology for zooming in on the human soul, discussed how that "little" issue of kings not being philosophers fuels constant troubles in the πόλις, and had a glimpse of Aristotle's view of the πόλις as a genus containing other species of communities-and all this in Ancient Greek!
