Interesting to see your work Carlo. Particulary the way your work with your gaffer, every dop does it defirently, it's Interesting to see that you didn't pick and choose the lighting fixture, and didn't do the lighting diagram and gear list. Is this how it works in the US generaly ? I would love a video of different DP explaining their relations with their gaffer ! Cheers and thanks for sharing, those angenieux are great, the wide one as some distortion hat works well for comedy. Check out their latest FF Compact Zoom when you can, tack detailed / sharp without being clinical, incredible !

Thanks for the note! I think for me it varies a lot. Sometimes I’ll do the diagrams if I need to be more specific but a lot of the times I want to give tbe gaffer control of the fixtures they use to achieve my look

Awesome video Gian Carlo! Every video you put out is so helpful. Quick question regarding using a hazer... Do you have to be wary of setting off smoke type alarms when working in places like schools? Do the hazers trigger something like that or is it really not a thing? Curious if you need maintenance on standby incase. Thanks!
