@@DuchessChau well, music is easily sourced as it already exists but can be tuned to what you need. Going from a 2D animation to a live-action can be trickier as you need to find people with the right set of skills/attitude/physique to be able to portray the characters. And my anxiety was mainly if they would be able to deliver on that front. Especially with Jet, and they did perfectly.

I know they were trying to not go for a straight fan service or a direct adaption and all though I would’ve loved to see some of the characters written a little better I still enjoyed it and will watch season 2. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. Is the show good? Yes. Does it perfectly portray bebop? Not really imo but still glad it happened.

I feel that. As we see with things like Marvel Studios's movies, even the ones that weren't so hot end up being relevant in future projects, and viewers judge them differently over time. So I'm hoping season 2 uses what was laid out in season 1 (both strengths and weaknesses) to help make Netflix's adaptation as a whole even better. Maybe we'll get even more of the original Bebop feeling in the next season.
