I'll say this: I can appreciate the showrunners adopting the daunting task of creating a live action version of an already perfect anime. An uphill battle for sure. And they did... Well, it's not Last Airbender.

You can tell they really really tried to stick to the same aesthetic... I will say as for world building they did amazing.. Also John Cho is great as spike... Love the casting for the most part. My issues is mostly with the other choices in the series. I really hope it does well because I like Cho as spike.

Live action can never be as good as anime no matter what. I wish people would stop comparing it to the anime and watch it for what it is. It’s actually good I don’t get all the hate. There isn’t one live action series or movie ever been made that can be as good as anime. Because there is no such thing.

I hoped that the series wouldn't be as bad as the live action Death Note, so I'm pleased to find out, after 10 sessions, that live action Cowboy Bebop is actually good. I hope season 2 is just around the corner and since S2 will adapt Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, please make it available on Netflix too, at least before S2 drops.

Really enjoyed season 1, can't wait for season 2! Cheers! Just as a footnote, every one is entitled to an opinion, and I should have qualified mine by saying why I enjoyed season 1. I like the story arc....it felt like this season was exploring the events between the original series instead of an exact copy of the original anime. Let's face it, transition from comics to the screen has been a hit or miss thing with Hollywood in the past. Netflix did a good job with their interpretation and season 2 should be entertaining as well.

I absolutely love the new series. Jon Cho is excellent as Spike. The scene where Jet is virtually dancing at his daughters recital while Spike is getting the shit kicked outta him is priceless. Episode 9 is fantastic. The ending is shocking and justified. Great job! Gonna watch it all again!

You're both Asian, Steve being Japanese is probably more familiar with the Maneko cat. Pierrot le Fou adaptation just completely missed the mark by taking out that cultural reference. Spike being saved by a cat is analogous to the Maneko legend. I don't fault John's acting, he did alright, but the scritwriters completely missed why the cat was important.

The show was nutbags lol. It's not the anime but that fine. The live action show is it's own thing and I can certainly appreciate show runners for doing that while trying to keep it faithful the anime. Mustafa Shakir pretty much nail Jet imo and It was a joy to John and Daniella breathe new life into Spike and Faye. Can't wait for season 2 with more Edward!

Netflix has one popular drama in Korea every four months, and there are at least 16 to 50 Korean dramas. I think it'd be good to upload it on Netflix all over the world. However, subtitles are important. If the subtitles are poor, it's not fun to watch them. Emotions can be conveyed only when interpreters from each country and Koreans who live abroad and know the language of the country are interpreted well. Korea is really good at making family stories. They're good at acting and this is what Netflix needs. Koreans won't watch it, but people around the world will love it. It's a drama that makes you fall in love with it.

The live action show was really ambitious. While not all of it was what id call superb I did enjoy it more than I thought. Some elements of it reminded me of the Speed Racer movie. It gets soooo much hate but it felt the most live action to anime thing Ive seen at the time. Bebop live action made me think of that.

You cancelled bojack horseman on season 6 and just like that show you missed at least one more season of delicious content for fans to enjoy. Yeah I'm enjoying it. Its sort of a more adult version of a live action Saturday morning live action show (but way better story lines and quality) mixed with a more gritty 70's show that might have been on later at night with a Sci-Fi theme. I started watching the anime and noticed some similarities but differences in the storyline. I'm enjoying it and hope they can make another season as they anime unfortunately only lasted one season.
