As a Chinese, I must say that I am very worried about the safety of this doctor, because in China, the hospital must set up strict isolation areas, filtration areas, and safety areas. Normal patients are in the isolation area, and both nurses and doctors stay In the safe zone, every time you enter a zone, it means that you have to face a greater risk, but the doctor came out and took off his clothes directly in the patient ’s ward. Many of his bodies were exposed to the air with viruses

Depends on where she wore the gloves. If she had on gloves when she treated a patient then she should have removed those gloves. In theory if everyone only wears gloves in contaminated areas, and then remove the gloves before entering a non-contaminated area then she shouldn't need gloves there. The wearing of gloves themselves do not protect anything if they are not removed correctly and at the right time. So, if she took off her gloves after leaving a dirty area and then put on another pair just for the clean area, then she'd be risking wasting gloves.
@VancouveriteBoy

E A Yes, she has to throw the contaminated gloves once she treat the patience. From one of the nurses "Every day, they bring in more of these "mystery illness" patients. The sedatives don't stop their delirium, so we have to put them in straitjackets and move them to the isolation wing. Problem is, the isolation wing is already bursting at the seams. The director has ordered us to admit anyone with symptoms free of charge, but what does he expect us to do? Wish them better? We don't have a cure. And that's not all that's bothering me. When these patients die, they're not collected by the usual mortuary teams. We've been told it's "special handling" to prevent the illness from spreading, but I'm not sure I buy it. Miranda saw some guys wheeling a body through the "forbidden door" during the night. Why? Where? What is going on?"

It breaks my heart that their are thousands of RT's working side by side with Docs and Nurses and yet always failed to be mentioned. Rt's are the first one's called into a room or a code and the last one's to leave. Respiratory deals directly with intubation, ventilators, extubation and breathing treatments. Respiratory are educated and trained specialists and are in the MEDICAL FIELD. Unlike nurses that are in the nursing field. I rarely ever hear a nurse speak up and give RT's credit. After this pandemic is over everyone will know what a Respiratory Care Practitioner is.

Herbert Filby agreed. The nurse should be wearing gloves when touching those pumps. She will inadvertently touch her eyes at some point

Thanks for making this video!! I am a RN in a Hospital here in Chicago, Illinois. This past weeks have been the worst weeks of my life I have seen people dying alone without being able to see their families before they died. Please everyone please stay at home!!!

What the hell am I looking at exactly? I see no chaos, no war zone or no sense of despair in the atmosphere., from the In footage of this and no other hospital that I've seen. Not here in Chicago either. All seems pretty calm consider the high sense of a war zone that they keep mentioning.

Fi G. A lot of hospitals do not have enough ppe so we are keeping n95 and bouffant etc.. on from room to room if they are covid positive. It’s the crap that we have had to do to make it work and keep going. Please try to be compassionate this is taking a toll on all of us ❤️ stay safe!!

Are the gloves transparent, or part of the gown? I can't tell that she had gloves on; comes outside the door, and uses her hand to close the door latch, then reaches for the hand sanitizer. Not criticizing, but as I've not worked in a hospital I'm just trying to understand the process that was used for the gloves that I imagine she actually did have on while in the room. (I did work for a home health company for a few years, just never in a hospital setting).

I don't want to be critical but yes, she was sloppy taking it off. However, these nurses are extremely overworked and overwhelmed right now so things can get sloppy in situations like this.

Finally a ray of positivity from the media, this positive attitude these nurses and doctors are describing, in the face of catastrophe, is the attitude needed to come out of this on top. Like soldiers, leave the wailing and weakness for when this is over - for now there is a job to do.
