you have no idea how much this helped. This makes my "portable studio" so much better. everything I have has to fit in my small car and I work off a folding table (which is surprisingly the perfect height) and these will free up so much needed space for my computer monitors and space in my car. I use Yamaha HS5's and im excited to see how stable they are- I don't have any concerns. will update you guys after they arrive

Thank you for the review, wanted to see how stable the monitors were once mounted to the stand. Should do well with Kali Audio 6.5's.

Yes they are stable. You can of course knock them down if you really bang into them, so it's a good idea to put them somewhere where there isn't a lot of foot traffic.

Yea agreed this is exactly the same reason I checked this out I have a pair of Kali's as well wanted to make sure these were stable before ordering.

Do the locking pins or latch vibrate during higher bass volumes ?
@jared47314 жыл бұрын
it probably depends on the size of the speaker you have on them. if you put subs on them at high volume I would definitely consider that. did you purchase them already?

Are they really supposed to rock like that? it almost seems like your floor is uneven though. Some kid trying to see what's up there might end up with a monitor to the face. btw you'd probably really like ultrawide monitors. Not the curved kind, just ultrawide.

The key phrase here was "Fairly stable stands"... I would not buy these. Changing the base style to a 5 or 6 branch (instead of a triangle) would provide much better stability . And increasing those branches 2, 3, 4 inches outward (from where the tips of the triangles are now) would go even farther to guarantee a "Mostly stable" stand. I've used "OnStage" products over the years in many cases. They're budget friendly and serve their purpose but, unfortunately, at a high degree of risk. My PA speaker stands, for example, are acceptable, but my mic stands and booms require extra weighting down of their bases before they yare "tip-free". So, to summarize this use case: Your studio monitors probably cost you $$$. And, if so, you should be looking at a much more stable stand solution.

what stands did you end up getting/how heavy are your speakers?
