The bridge they used was between Hillingdon and Uxbridge on the Metropolitan and Piccadilly Lines. When this happens we have to suspend the train service while the bridge is inspected. Stan was supposed to be in his 30s living with his mum - it is Reg Varney, the actor who played him who was in his 50s. Casting at London Weekend Television was pure nonsense in 1969 when they cast Reg for this role.
