Eek, this was so exciting!!! I was in such suspense to see which one you would pick!! The Pennybridge was a great choice. Re the Weeks and pen loop, I'm a lefty and I completely agree with you on both counts - the Weeks absolutely must be on the right side so the cover is visible, and the pen loop should definitely not have to travel!! Looking forward to seeing your complete setup!!

I identify with you so much and change my planner systems about as often. We're incorrigible. When I want to try something different, I just go shopping in my craft room and files. I'm going back to my S.H.E. cardfile housecleaning system. So glad I kept all the index cards and Rolodexes and file boxes, etc. Hope I get some cleaning done before I potentially change my mind again. It IS a good system.

You will have to let us know if you can still zip it closed once you add all your cash/cards/coins to it. It looks pretty tight already with the weeks in there! I love the blue, as well. Very pretty and summer-y.

(after watching the whole video) I'm glad that it all worked out at the end, although i was sure that you would pick up Saffiano because of removable rings! I have Lockwood personal ff, but I find myself using Malden more. I don't like to pull out Malden out of the bag, when I'm paying in a store, so I like to use top opening envelopes while my Malden is standing in my bag - I just pull out money from the top opening envelope without pulling out the whole organizer. For the same not-wanting-to pull-out reason, I like to have business cards slots that are horizontal instead of vertical, as in inside left cover of Malden, so I just use a business card plastic insert with horizontal slots - I just pull out my cards out of them just like cash. I don't use the inside zipped pocket because:a)it's too small for all of my coins, b) again, because I don't want to pull my Malden out of the bag. I use a zipped pocket in my bag instead of using Malden for coins. Somethimes, when I need more than one top opening envelope in my filofax, I insert another horizontal card plastic insert, fold out my cash, and put it into these card slots according to their categories - I use it so Idon't have to use a bunch of top opening envelops, because one plastic insert with 6 business card slots is less bulk than 6 top opening envelopes. I showed it in several of my several videos.

With the saffiano zip, the rings aren't attached to the outside. They are connected to a piece of plastic that slips in and out. If you grab the inserts/rings and pull to the left, you'll see it comes right out

Thanks for sharing this. I am really intrigued as to the removable rings option. For months and months I have been struggling to find a system that would adequately combine Hobo Weeks/Wallet set up. This video helps tremendously. However, I don't prefer rings and so will have to dig further into the Saffiano zip option.

Your video settled it for me...until I went online shopping to discover this pennybridge is unavailable. It’s an understatement to say I’m SO disappointed!!

I used to use the same planner/wallet, until I started just putting my financial info and cards in my personal planner. It worked great with our cash budget system. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

i have the Saffiano ( doing the Dave Ramsey money envelopes) saw another planner babe doing the Hobonichi. She couldnt tell me the size or which one that fits. Sooooooo...which one do you have in this video!!! your video has sold me to jump on the water to do the Hobonichi!!!
