Random unnecessary info: those aren't actually sushi rolls, they're kimbap. They're traditional Korean sandwiches than can be made with pretty much anything. Anyway, great video !
@izzydizzywhizzy7 жыл бұрын
Just Blue Lmao! I'm always thinking this in my head. Sushi has raw fish! Gimbap does not. For anyone who cares: 김밥 (gimbap) is literally translated as seaweed (gim) rice (bap). If there is no fish, it's not sushi!

Actually you are wrong those are Makizushi(巻き寿司) sushi rolls/ sushi wrap or Norimaki(海苔巻き) seaweed roll what they are called in Japan it’s not kimbap. Kimbap is korean she is making food for an Obento/Bento(弁当 )which is a Japanese lunch box not Korean. ✌️

No joke I've turned vegan because of your channel. I live in a place where meat is like a central part of out diet and I never even considered going vegan or even vegetarian. Then around 20 days ago I came across your channel because of a video you made on the benefits of yoga and I was just watching your videos for fun. And then I decided to check out some of the documentaries you linked...just casually with no intention of becoming vegan but after watching them (conspiracy especially) and a little more research I decided to try going vegan and I've been vegan for Two whole weeks now and it is amazing. And I've actually tried some of your recipes and loved them. So thank you sooo much

I've been contemplating on going vegan for a while now. I completely agree with the animal cruelty aspect of it as well as the environmental factors. I am huge on cruelty free products, as you could probably tell by just scrolling through my KZbin videos I've made because I only purchase and review cruelty free products, but I haven't been able to go fully vegan. I've been having 2/3 vegan meals everyday and sometimes I can accomplish 3/3 meals, but it gets hard sometimes, especially when out with friends because of the negative connotation the word "vegan" has. I've had waiters and waitresses treat me differently because I've asked for vegan options. I just don't think it's possible to fully transition for me. Could anyone lend me some advice?
@HaiiiWazzuppp7 жыл бұрын
Hi NMakeup!! I love your channel! And I completely get your struggle! Just try your best and hopefully one day you can be fully vegan!
@laurafillmore29647 жыл бұрын
NMakeup I completely understand, I used to be vegan but for various reasons I decided to identify as mostly plant based, because that better represents my actual diet, if you are doing the best you can and what's best for your body then you have to realize that that is good enough (which was hard for me to realize but so much better in the long run) 😊
@k-puig87 жыл бұрын
Aw! Thank you so much! I appreciate the advice!
@k-puig87 жыл бұрын
Laura, thank you so much! I will definitely take what you said to heart. I really appreciate your response. I just wished more restaurants had vegan options that weren't necessarily on a separate "vegan" menu. There seems to be a negative stigma around "vegan" and it's terrible because all food is food and whether a dish is plant-based or not should not affect anything. Like someone not vegan wouldn't even glance at the "vegan" menu because of the stigma and separation. All food is food! Am I making sense? I'm just internally frustrated haha. Have an amazing day Laura!
@TheOnlyFairee7 жыл бұрын
NMakeup The longer you do it the easier it becomes. You'll get tougher skin and not be bothered by others. Watch something like Earthlings once again, and realize that you cant stand for that injustice ever again, despite the small inconvenience to you. Once you go 100% all in, eating anything else doesn't seem like a palatable option. You'll look at meat cheese and eggs as willingly as you look at poop. Until you actively decide to go 100% in, it will be too easy to falter when someone judges you. Use those times as teaching experiences, some people may ask why you've decided to be vegan. Good luck, if I can do it, you can do it!

bands are for life you can find a lot of spices for cheap at the dollar store, aldi, and bulk stores. That really sucks that your mom is like that. Try to talk it over with her, tell her that you want to eat healthy and eat more food. It is ok to eat a lot of food. Maybe she is like that because of cost, again you can go to Aldi for a lot of this stuff and bulk stores. Do you live with your dad? If you do maybe he would be more open to it. You have to eat, it's not good to skip meals.
