I so wish I could help but I am 74. Farming did not enter my life at all. Thanks for showing farm life

Its crazy seeing things done differently across the world. JH is pulling headers with basically a diesel ford ranger.

Very interesting how you got the grain out of the bag for us uninitiated. Thanks for the video Mate

Good to see debagging. Keeping the tractor dead straight would be the hardest part.

Well done John loved this video I know it's awkward for you on your own but seeing you operate the machines was great actually seeing how it all works as I have never seen this done before I'm in Scotland I have seen bags of silage but not grain loving your videos seeing a different way of farming

Well done JH but I can’t believe that you don’t have any friends😂😂😂. Next time put the call out to your KZbin followers and I’m sure they’ll came and help. It’s okay George we never once thought that Paul and Henry had not stuffed up somewhere, you just happened to do yours when the camera was around that’s all.

😅😂 I was wondering just how you were going to get all that grain out of the bags way back all those years ago when you filled them? Cleaver way of doing it, but I must say you did well to do that by yourself. (In the UK, we call people who don't have any mates to help them, Billy no mates 😂) I really do enjoy yours and your cousin Tom's Brook Farm videos, I always look forward to seeing that little blue dot to say you guys have uploaded another one. Would like to see more of Annabell, George, and Henry the Kiwi 😆. Maybe if their camera shy, you should get the cattle prod out to encourage them 😊?

Hi JH, love your work (and your team) - it is an impressive operation you run, and it is great that we all get to see it. You've probably thought about this, but might it be better to load straight from the bag into the truck? I suppose that would hold up Brian a bit as it would take longer, but it would save a lot of extra work (loading the chaser, and unloading into the bin) if you could do it. Maybe the auger doesn't reach? Anyway, just a thought.
@tomsbrookfarm
@tomsbrookfarm 11 ай бұрын
You answered your own question. It's way to slow to load straight into Brian. It would take about 40minutes to an hour to load him or I can use the 100t bin and load him in 15 minutes. Basically we get an extra load or two at the end of the day using the chaser bin and getting him out as fast as possible. We can load straight into the trucks as we have done it before but you need to have a good spot in the paddock otherwise the truck will destroy it when they turn or get bogged if its sandy

Hi JH great to see how debagging works. Certainly looked full on doing it by yourself. Looks like good strong plastic. Do you have any use for it?
@tomsbrookfarm
@tomsbrookfarm 11 ай бұрын
Unfortunately no there is no use for the plastic after we have used it. It's not recyclable and they also don't want it for some unknown reason. Would be fantastic if we could drop it off somewhere to be used again as it is a crime to only use it one
@ats-3693
@ats-3693 7 ай бұрын
@@tomsbrookfarmYeah that's crazy, in this day and age with the modern materials and chemical technology we have it should be illegal for a company to produce plastic type material that is not recyclable, reusable, or 100% biodegradable.

Why do you not just load the truck straight from the bag?
@tomsbrookfarm
@tomsbrookfarm 11 ай бұрын
Time. Its way to slow loading straight into the truck, would take 40 minutes to and hour where as I can load the chaser bin up in the time he is gone and have him loaded in 15 minutes.

Why have you not gone to a typhoon drum?
@tomsbrookfarm

Don't need one. John Deere fronts are pretty good with the new fronts that there is no need to change the drum

@@tomsbrookfarm yeah the d140 isnt bad either. Maccas reckon going to a typhoon is a step backwards. Ive got a d65 old girl which was useless until i put the typhoon in it.
